Just downloaded Rift

A question, I tried out Rift but so far only one account just to check it out a bit. I tried out two chars and both times when being lvl 7 I came to a place called Sanctum. Both times when moving on I had to pass through an area of lvl 13-14 mobs until I got to a quest hub more suited for my own level.
Did I do something wrong, or why did the mobs jump from around lvl 7 up to lvl 14 like that?

I haven't gotten that far yet. I think I am only level 4 or 5 right now.

on Deepwood-PvE, there is Elania (5 x Clerics - all 60 i think), this is where my new 5xCleric team is at.
on Seastone-PvP, there is Shake several other new new boxers (if i can recall)
on Faeblight-RP-PvE, is the home more of the pve boxers old and new. I myself may transfer there.
on Wolfsbane-PvE, there are i believe 2 other 5-boxers other then myself. 1 Who comes to the forums, the other who doesnt know about these forums. My main 5-box team, and my main's raiding guild is on this server.
Greybriar-PvE, i believe there may be a few multiboxers on this server as well, i believe Krago is one.

I myself am kind of split in terms of what server i will officially end up on. Wolfsbane being my home of my raid friends, i havnt raided with him this expansion yet, so im not necessarily tied down to them.

Currently i believe with the influx of new boxers, i think seastone now holds the most boxers on it, all new as well. I was pondering transferring there myself, as i leveled my original team on one of the original pvp servers before xfering to a pve server.

Also note you can transfer from server to server - no charge, i think the cool down is every 7 days. it may be shorter now.

Edit: also - you can also join chat from that is on other servers from any server, as well as whisper, and of recently, you can "Visit"/"Guest" to a friend server by joining their group, being in the same zone. Me and Smedbox tested this the other day.

I just rolled some rogue hunters. Clerics were okay but my questline got fracked and I got frustrated so rolled these. How do I join a guild on Deepwood? My toons are Danalane, Danapain, Danaluv, Danahate and Danaheat.

I am infuriated with wow...I just spent a shit ton of money to x-fer all my Resto druids to "Save the Horde" since there are no healers....to find that /follow doesn't work.

My fault for not forum following I suppose.

Might join you guys maybe. If I can convince my wife that Blizzard is a Nazi regime.

I am really starting to enjoy this game. Still have a lot to learn about it, though. Crafting feels a bit awkward but sure I will get the hang of it. Love the rifts! Great way to get gear currency and XP.

Im curious to know what frustrated you with the clerics?

The rifts are a nice addition/change, the Instant adventures will be the fast path to 50, but it is definitely a grind with good/decent rewards. I started to play my 55 team again for a little bit before returning to my 5xCleric team, my guild asked me to get my cleric main to 60 as all the other clerics are geared so the loot is rotting.

Actually, I screwed up on a questline and being so new to the game just got frustrated so rolled another team. I am certainly going to continue to play my clerics!

I found when I got around 14 with my rogues a strong desire to try and instance and it was a total failure. So, I rolled yet another team! lol..no wonder I had close to 80 toons in WoW.

I read that damage from the mages can heal the entire group/raid and it made me think of my 4 disc priest dungeon team. Well, we will see. Once I get the hang of all this I will get a team leveled beyond 15.

Edit: Now it seems my /follow is a bit broke. Everyone follows tank fine but if I switch to the alts, they don't follow. They all turn "somewhere" facing the same direction and not towards a toon. Weird. Will work on this later.

Edit #2: Figured it out. Had two toons in the wrong order in my follow macros! Time to pew pew now.
