Default Rift Boxing Compared to WoW?

How is boxing rift compared to wow?
Had 2 max level chars a while back so I more or less know the game.

Does it have follow and IWT?
Is there something like WoW RAF for leveling?

Any other thoughts/comments will be appreciated.

(Looking for a game to box now that wow has become unfriendly to boxers)

I'm also interested on knowing how is boxing RIFT compared to WoW.

I don't box PvP so the /follow issue after 5.2 don't have any impact on my playstyle. But I felt somehow irritated with it. Blizzard made a bad move mainly because it was ninja'ed - they certainly knew that announcing it on the patch notes would made lots of us to not upgrade/buy/renew accounts.

So, there's something inside compelling me to quit (at least for a while) and try some new adventures on a new universe. I don't bother if it matters or not, if we are a very small part of Blizzard's business - it's a matter of staying true to my beliefs.

On big plus on Rifts, if we decide to go that way, is the first areas are kind of barren right now, still being so close to their latest expansion Storm Legions coming out. Everyone is over in the two new areas. So leveling would be pretty good. We would basically have all the rifts open to ourselves. I know using ISboxer, at least when I tried it awhile back, it was pretty easy to get going. Of course, there are people here who are much better versed in it than I am, but it seemed much easier then say LOTRO (Which I love) or even Champions or STO.

The fastest way I experienced leveling in Rift was Instant adventure which basically provides endless quests which most are kill quests.
I have 2 level 50 teams but I have not been back since the Storm Legion expansion due to I was busy playing WoW.
Both Rift and WoW are VERY similar in game mechanics although Rift is substantially harder on the PC hardware due to it's graphics IMHO are much better than WoW

There is an interact and follow command at this time in Rift. Interact will let you talk to the NPCs. I have not tested it for melee combat, i basically have a follow on my main when i attack using melee.

There currently is no RAF style of leveling, its really not needed at the pace you can level doing Instant Adventures.

I personally used to get grief from others for being a bot, but they are just confused to what that means. I just ignore it. in my opinion i run into more adults on Rift then i do kids (personal experience). The game is damn near 100% WoW Style (i say this flightly as i am a x-eq bittervet). There are new aspects that they introduce but nothing a wow player will get confused on.

Some of the animations are "slow-ish" in appearance. But i can care less about "politically correct" animations.

There are some faction and token grinding in the end game, but for the most part its all do-able outside of raiding. Raiding just gives you specific loot+tokens.

With the issues our WoW brothers and sisters are experiencing, ask any questions you like. Im sure the rift crew will be here to help you guys/gals out. Its a sad day when we lose (even partially) a place to play as we choose.

This is big for me.. even if its only interact with NPCs.. that was one part of Rift i hated.. having to line your guys up just right and mouse broadcast to get/turn in quests was a pain for me.

There is also a decent FTL Setup now as well, takes some 3-4 macros depending on usage. But after that now i dont have to build any focus/@targets into my macros anymore as well.

Rift takes alot more processing power as well. If you could 5 box WoW you can dual box Rift.
