    Default New to multi-box

    So i want to start multiboxing, started today, got everything installed, Using an older system (part for a new system should come in tomorrow) now im running 2 toons a mage and a priest, i eventually want to run 5, but i think it will take time for me to get used to it...

    So i currently have 2 accounts 1 with 5 lvl 80+, 1 90 (priest) and 1 with a single 90 (mage)

    No i think having all toons to be the same will make my life way easier at least for starting... So i was thinking to make a DK, since they are the one that start at highest level and i believe that 5 of them in a bg would be cool, but also thought i would need a healer, So not sure if i want to use 4k + druid healer or 5 dks... What you guys think? So i already have a lvl 85 dk, so i need 3/4 more, i guess i also have to transfer my toons around to one of those new accounts, so i can create the dk (previous lvl requirement) now how would i go about leveling them fast? how can i use that refer a friend thing to create a account on my same battle net?

    How you guys do this?

    I guess i would be nice to run 5 mans by my self, and quest...
    So i want my team to be very strong in PvP (mostly BGs) and good in PvE

    So Here is what i got:
    90 Mage
    90 Priest
    80 Monk
    85 Shamn
    83 Warrior
    80 Druid
    85 DK

    By looking online at few videos and reading this forums seems like most of you guys recommend melee... So i guess i Can run like this:

    PvE -> Tank: Warrior, Healer: Druid, DPS: Enh Shaman, WW Monk, DK
    PvP -> Healer: Druid, DPS: Enh Shaman, WW Monk, DK and Warrior

    Depending on what you want to play, you'll likely want to use Recruit a Friend (RAF).

    A lot of people play five characters, that is likely the average.
    It is a full group, for anything PvE related and is a full group for Arena too.
    You can queue as a group of five, for battlegrounds and have everyone get into the same game.

    Four is enough DPS to generally blow people up.
    It is also four of ten players, in the smaller battlegrounds which is an advantage over being five (in one place) of ten players.

    Three is less than I'd like, but recently several people have been three-boxing.
    It is the correct number for 3s in Arena, which has a lot more people queuing than for 5s.

    Ten is a jump up from five, and is a common number as well.
    You can attempt 10-man raids; Mercurio was quite successful doing them during the WotLK era.
    With 10, you can be quite a force in world or battleground pvp.

    Invisahealz is playing with twenty five.
    Sam Deathwalker is playing with thirty two.
    Prepared is playing with forty or fifty.
    There isn't really a fixed limit on what you can do; it's more a question of your hardware and budget.

    If you opt for five...
    And have a starting account.

    I would suggest two RAF chains.
    A (Parent Account) RAFs B which RAFs C.
    A (Parent Account) RAFs D which RAFs E.

    You go into the account management page, and send an RAF invite to a friend, using your own email address.
    Do this twice, for A > B and A > D.

    Log into the page for B and send yourself an invite B > C.
    Same deal for D > E.

    Use digital codes, retail codes, or upgrade the accounts from the Battle.Net page for the account.
    With eight or fewer accounts, having everyone on the same B.Net email is a good idea; one authenticator for every account and easier account management.
    If you might go over eight accounts, it might be an idea to have two B.Nets from the start.
    In general one B.Net is good.

    With the two chains...
    Your booster on A, boosts characters on BCDE.
    Even though A is too high for the A>B and A>D chains, to count for RAF... the B > C and D > E links are both valid so BCDE all get the RAF benefits.
    And because B & D are linked to A, they can give the account benefits to A.

    For every four toons you boost on BCDE, you end up with:
    A) Six characters, via Granted Levels.
    B/D) Four boosted characters, plus two characters Granted.
    C/E) Four boosted characters.

    With seven characters on A already, you might be better off with five new accounts.
    You can transfer any character, from the existing account... to one of the new accounts, if they're a favorite.
    If the original account is on the same B.Net, you'll retain most mounts/achievements.
    It is an option...

    So since i have 2 accounts already im better off creating 4 new account anyways (Instead of 3?) (why did you say create 5 new on your last paragraph instead of 4 then?)

    Also what is a booster how does it work? I just log in with my lvl 90, and party with the other 4 "new guys from the new accounts" and kill things around?

    Also as far as the toons go, i guess i can also go 4dks + resto druid and have 1 of the dks have extra gear for tanking... Since i already have the resto i would only need 4 dks.... Account A has the resto so we leave that one alone... Account B gives RAF to D, and Account C to E.... not sure i understand how RAF works correctly

    So if i create 3 new accounts, and transfer a higher than 55 lvl toon to it, i should be able to make 4dks, and all of them will have 300% right?

    Ok i have done that i created 4 new accounts... and did them like you said.. Now i just have to figure out what to make them... like class wise and if i should lvl all 5 of them at the same time, including a toon on the parent account or just 4..

    For RAF experience bonus to work they have to be within 4 levels of the character on the account they are linked to, in a party, and within 100 yards of each other so it's best to run them together. The first month or three is all learning, so I would play them together and figure out how to do it.

    You need:
    a) Accounts directly RAF linked;
    b) Characters of those accounts group;
    c) Within a certain proximity to each other;
    d) Within +/- 4 levels of each other;
    e) Both of them, level 79 or lower;
    f) Mobs killed or quests completed, not greyed out for either character

    You can only grant them in one order (to the account that did the recruiting).
