Wanting to return to multiboxing
Hello, I am wanting to get back into multiboxing after a long break. I have the same computer as I had before, but I have upgraded the video card and the memory.
Can you guys tell me if it is possible to still multibox with the desktop I have and if so how many accounts do you think it would run. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks for the help.
Thanks Saph.

That is slightly better than my old system that was able to 5 box, but when entering big towns (stormwind or dalaran) it would lag alot and break follow, had to move them individually. But outside of town I was able to 5 box OK.
Your processor is a step up and video card is much better than my old one, so if you go by that you should guess you'll be able to 5 box ok. WoW, but not Rift.
Anyhow I think the current version of vista is 6.1 (but not positive) you should try windows update just in case.

I would say that most people who had multiboxed on an older system like have since upgraded. It all comes down to how much of a performance drop you're willing to accept as playable and the best way you can estimate performance on that older system is to start up some trials and walk yourself into either SW or Org (assuming WoW) on a high populated realm at peak hours -- That will give you an idea of what you can expect out of it.
