How to set up follow and assist outside your normal group

Hey guys, was wondering I have been searching for a few days now and cant find the answer. As I'm sure its a easy fix but im still learning. Ok so I have a normal 3 team gunslingers with follow and assist already set up. I use the crt-1- crtl 5 set up. I used the swtor follow for dummies set up. However my wife has a smuggler that she likes to group with me from time to time. When she groups with me she becomes (slot 1) even though my guy does the inviting. So my two other gunslingers follow her and assist her but not me. I don't have her charc in my set up. If anyone could provide me with a link or tell me how to set it up, I would be very greatful. Isboxer is a awesome tool and I'm trying to get my head around it. But atm im stumped.

Ok I think I figured it out on my own. Took a break let my mind rest. Crtl 1 - Crtl 5 are set up by using the swtor for dummies follow guide. I looked around and since my F keys are now blank I created a key map using F3 for Target my main and then put in the follow tilde key. I also added assist Targets Target. So whenever I hit f3 the other two target my main and follow and also assist his target.
