    Default RAF, granting Levels (A<B<C<D<E)

    Heya!

Huge thanks to MiRai for this post, I decided to set up 5 brand new accounts (using RAF linking A>B>C>D>E)
I'm using account X for boosting toons, mostly inside the dungeons, and I have a question about granting levels (something what I've totally forgotten..)

    example:

    Account B = mage (lvl 1), druid (lvl 1)
    Account C = mage (lvl 1), druid (lvl 1)
    Account D = mage (lvl 1), druid (lvl 1)
    Account E = mage (lvl 1), druid (lvl 1)

    • X boosts mages on B C D and E to from level 1 to level 40.
    • mage on E grants levels to lvl1 druid on D
    • druid on D now has levels, can he grant levels to C account now, or do the levels need to be "earned" ?

I tried to look around the forum about this, but still not so sure. Thanks in advance

oh, wrong section I guess :P

and reminder for new RAFers; Granting levels to lvl 1 toon is not smart
    (this was just an example)

For every even level that you gain (up to and including level 78), no matter how it was earned, gives you one free level to grant to the veteran (recruiter) account.

In most cases, you're going to be better off with two RAF chains:
    A > B > C
    A > D > E

    And a booster on A.

If you're brand new, without a booster, you'd level five toons on ABCDE... in such a way that the first composition of five includes a booster on A, for the later sets.
You'd want the booster to hit 85th or higher, at which point you can boost through the 80th level dungeons quite easily.

If you have at least one existing booster already, you can boost immediately.

Because of having two RAF chains... and gaining the ability to give 39 levels, if you level a set of toons from 1st to 80th...
And with two RAF chains going...
You boost a set of toons on BCDE, with A.
Then level a toon on A to 2nd level (and almost to third), then apply granted levels from both chains... and that is a full toon on A.

And you get the cascade granted levels.
For every four toons on BC and DE, C gives two 80s to B (actually boosts two toons from 2nd and almost third), and that lets B give an extra full toon to A in addition to the normal granted toons... same deal with D in the DE chain.

If you boost/level four toons on BCDE, with A...
    You get:
    A x6 Granted Toons
    B x4 Boosted Toons + 2x Granted Toons
    C x4 Boosted Toons
    D x4 Boosted Toons + 2x Granted Toons
    E x4 Boosted Toons
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

Ok looking at all this im trying to figure the best way to do this. My account A has 11 slots all filled with level 85 plus toons on them. Thats my run everyone thru toon. Then i have account B that i want to raf account C, D, and E. I am only upgrading them thru cata seeing how i dont need mop on those other 3 since i will be transferring accounts over to my other accounts that im to lazy to level the old way.
They say spiders have 8 legs well i guess im a rare and unimaginable specimen. Ive got 9 legs and my web comes from that 9th leg. HaHa.

If your account A is full, then I think you should make account B, which invites C D and E. (B<CDE). Then level CDE-triplets together to 10. Then run instances with A booster+CDE, and farm level grants, which you later can use on empty account B..

I made my RAF linking stupidly (A<B B<C C<D D<E) because all I do is dungeon boosting, and there is no account to grant levels to E account..

You have 5 accounts already right? ABCDE, and what if you created two new accounts FG.
    A is booster
    B recruits F
    C recruits G

Now you create new toons on BCFG and boost with A. Now you only have two accounts to transfer toons from, F to D, G to E, possibly saving you money on xfer costs to your existing accounts.

You know that might work better cause i will only have to transfer to one account this way hmmm thats an awesome idea and i would transfer to the two with the most toons . I think you saved me some major money good show good show.

Ok after figuring all math on it and all. Step one making three new accounts to do the transferring all costs will be $525 now if i just did two accounts new it would cost me $340 hmmm big diff almost 200 dollars saved. This works because of instead of having to transfer to three accounts i only need to transfer to two accounts. Plus with the rest of raf i can build up another account or two for my wife to play maybe dual box at a later time. So in turn i could pay the extra 60 to get her all the way to mop. Ill wait on the mop tho and cata incase she doesnt really like it or just wants one account.
