You can champion a certain faction which I believe allows you to get rep from other sources, i.e. boss kills from LFR.



A lot of people like the dallies. Personally I think all the options are great, especially for making gold and there being no limit on the number you can do - if you have the time you can grind out the rep for all factions. I think the outspoken minority of whiners on the forums don't really represent the entire player base. I still see tons of people doing dallies all over both servers I've played on. The word "force" is used too much, I don't think anything they've done FORCES you to do anything. You can fill every slot via LFR an heroic dungeons, and you can fill in a lot of them via rep items from dallies, crafted gear, etc. They just added even more option to get good gear. Think back to wrath dallies where the rep gear was crap that was only relevant for the first patch.

Seems like the more options they add, the more ways to get gear, the more people throw out the word "forced" as if they have no choice but to fully take advantage of every single option to get gear to max it out. You don't, unless you're in a heroic progression guild and absolutely need everything you can get. You used to be "forced" to join a raiding guild if you wanted epic gear at all. There was no LFR, the rewards from dallies were garbage first patch blue gear, etc.

Yea, people complained that there wasn't enough to do and the game was boring. Blizz adds HEAPS of things to do and now it's "we're forced to grind and grind for hours just to do everything..." It's funny to watch.

Also, people forget how bad the lvl 60 grinds used to be... I sure haven't!!
