    Default thinking on intel chipset

Im trying to find pros and cons looking everywhere but the people here would know best. First im looking at the i7-3770 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) Quad Core 8000K.. Was wondering if its a good chipset or should i go better staying in the quad core range. I wouldnt mind going bigger and better then this one just curious which is fair good best.
They say spiders have 8 legs well i guess im a rare and unimaginable specimen. Ive got 9 legs and my web comes from that 9th leg. HaHa.

I'm confused... In your other thread you're about to buy a 6-core 3930K, and in this thread, you're asking about a quad-core 3770K.

You didn't list a chipset, you listed a processor. The 3770K can be used in a handful of different chipsets, but you're most likely going to be putting it into either a Z75 or Z77 board.
