Blizzard macro system Revamp eventually?

if they do I'd hope it was more like rifts, where it was simple to create a macro to do whatever you wanted, but honestly most of my macros are good. Anyone care to speculate?

It would be fantastic if things fell in our favor, but seeing as Blizzard doesn't like macros to be a one-stop-shop for quick and easy DPS, I doubt that we'll get any love. This is probably a good time for them to fix all the loopholes in the macro system which probably require a major overhaul to seal once and for all; but then again, if they do decide to dumb down the macro system and further restrict it, we can hope for them to overlook something once again with the redesign.

Regardless, I'm interested to see what changes they're going to make.

Its one of the main features that keeps me coming back to this game..I hope "revamp" does not end up being "change" to somthing that is less desirable. It looks like its a long way off anyway, but more macro slots would be welcome in the meantime!

I feel that they mean "easier to use" rather then "change the way it works."

You have to assume most players that bring up the macro page look at it for a second, have no clue what any of it means and then never open it again. If anything I'd expect a new UI and a basic guidance for "cast sequence," or "cast at focus."

Yeah, could definitely see drag and drop icons for the different parts the /cast or /castsequence and the targeting
