Default Starting Slow: 3 man Team

Alright, I decided I'm better off starting slow when it comes to Dual-Boxing. I realize that it's harder to add characters later on, but I figure if I want to add more, i can start over or bear thru trying to power level clone accounts.

So for my start, I'm pondering going two different setups.

    - 3 Shaman
    - 1 Priest, 2 Mage

I like the idea of having Mages, since they seem to do the best burst damage and the priest helps with survivability.

But 3 Shamans seem to cover almost all the major aspects of the game. Melee, Range Damage, Heals and good buffs. So it gets confusing what to go with.

    Any thoughts about this?

You summed it up pretty good. Priest+Mages or All Shamans seem to be the most popular and comes down to what you prefer to play. I went with 3 Shamans but some others went Priest+Mages.

Just a thought, you could create both teams: Priest+Mages & 3 Shamans and play both teams. After awhile you'll end playing the team you enjoy the most.
3 x Druid: Crazyclaw, Crazyclaws, Crazyclawz

I just started multi-boxing and chose 3 shamans to begin with.

Three shamans because i thought it's easier for the macro setup, and not having to use different spells/cooldowns too much things happening at a time.\

Last night when i went RFC with the 3 shamans, and found out lots of mobs are immune to nature damage in there, and i'm guessing all elementals in-game are pretty much immune to nature damage

2xMage + 1xPriest sounds like a pretty good way to go for leveling, as the damage output is very decent, you have heals/resses and good buffs. In addition the mages can conjure water/food for your party so the party is pretty 'self-providing'!

If i had to reroll, i'd probably chose the 2xMage 1xPriest combo!

I've seen mobs that cast an immunity to Fire damage on them so, it seems reasonable that their are random mobs immune to all sorts of things just so that a mixed party would be the most reasonable combination in any setting.

I guess really I could set up multiple 3 Man teams. I would try melee but that just seems to be a world of pain. It's a nice idea, but I figure trying to keep multiple clones in melee range has to be a lot harder to do then just making sure they are in spell range. It's sort of the problem with MMOG's in general, I find. Range has it easier then Melee because of lag or in pvp because players hop around like madmen making it hard to get 'in melee range'.

I would like to try 2 Warriors and a Priest but I figure keeping the 2 warriors in range would be a real pita.

Maybe 1 Priest, 1 Mage, 1 Warlock. Mix it up DPS wise. Different debuffs, different attack types, etc. It's an idea.

Also you get a semi viable tank , wipe protection, healthstones, summons and synergy with the priest if he ever turns to the dark side
