Default SHIFT, ALT, SPACE, ENTER... not being repeated... help!

    Hi!,

I am new to ISbox. I am so proud that I finally got it managed to link up 2 PCs (one instance on each) and to log in the game (D3). Mouse repeating works perfectly. all alphabetical keys and the keys 0 to 9 are being repeated also. But the SHIFT, ALT, SPACE, ENTER and some more keys are not being repeated on the second PC. I never changed anything concerning key mapping or repeating. Could anybody be so kind and tell me what I have to change in order to have these keys repeated also?

    thank you in advance,
    kind regards

I believe you'll need to add the keys you want, to the mapped keys that broadcast.

Space and Enter should be relatively straightforward.
Not sure on Alt or Shift, as they are normally modifier keys.

Thanks. But how does it come that those keys are off and abc...z and 0-9 not? I never did a separation.

How can I manually activate the other keys? Sorry for the noob question, but I really searched for this.
Do I put those on the whitelist?

another strange point is that it is of no mattter if I turn on key mapping in game or not. the keystroke repeating takes place when alt-shift-R is pressed.

Would it be possible to use HotkeyNet addionally to fix this?

Hotkey doesn't work if isboxer is on...

I now switched the server - client roles on the machines with the same result. so i suppose it is of some matter with the isboxer settings...?

    You have two broadcast modes.

One is Keymaps (your groups of mapped keys).
The other is Repeater (or Broadcast; it was called one initially, but is now called the other).

You have two clickbar images at the top of the screen, assuming you used the Wizard to generate the team and let it create those for you.

The one that shows A > A, is Repeater.
The one that shows A > Something else is Keymaps.

The wizard has generated several mapped keys, which work when Keymaps are enabled.
    These include the Assist Keys: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, -, and =.

By default you don't have Enter as a mapped key.
It is extremely easy to create additional mapped keys.
You can check out the video by MiRai on how to do that; you can find it on the IS Boxer site.
You could also check out the guide in my signature; the Keymap section will illustrate (initially assuming you know absolutely nothing about IS Boxer) how to make mapped keys and such... they build on previous examples.
Most of the stuff there, is done for you via the wizard, but the examples (if you do them, even if you delete them afterwards) will teach you how the interface works, so you'll be comfortable adding your own mapped keys or more able to follow someone helping you out in the IRC (on the IS Boxer site).
