This change is quite dumb and upgrading should have never been implemeneted int he first place. I like that upgrading is being removed but not the fact that gear that is upgraded isnt being reduced. Adding the changed that malev gear will be reduced from 483 to 476, People who are in full malev with 2/2 upgrade are not going to have their gear ilvl reduced, only further enlarging the gap between honor and conquest gear. #thestruggle
Then they will prob put upgrading back in 5.3 if it doesn't have a raid tier... stupid system
They are only aking it away for 5.2 and brining it back in 5.3 thats all.
They said they will put it in for patches that do not have tier upgrades.

They should just get rid of it all together atleast for pvp gear... They've made MOP pvp horrible for anyone who starts mid season / rerolls.

You hear this cry from both sides. The grass is always greener. The only problem I have with this next patch is that a few of my bread and butter spells are getting nerfed into the dirt. I wouldn't mind if I never got the spells in the first place, but once you have them and develop a play style around them, the thought of retooling makes me want to change specs or just quit playing that toon altogether.
