ndThis is true, you could and its your money. The 780i will last you a long time and is very good bang for your buck. The reason i stick with cheaper boards and everything is so later on if i decide to upgrade its easier to stash away something i spent $80 on then it is on something i spent $250 on. The biggest problem I see witht he 780i is you will more than likely have to buy a new power supply as this board needs an 8pin CPU connecter, not the 4pin, which most mobos come standard with.
Either way it will make for a fantastic build, and you'll be able to multibox like a charm.
