hmm Can i recommend something. Since you are getting a 780i and you are looking to spend a huge amount on dual gtx's look at this and rethink the idea of your dual GTX's http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130338

In essence youd already have SLI with that one card. But only use one PCI port. That thing is a monster, and later on down the road you can get a second and you will be QUAD sli, which the 780i supports.

this card is 50% faster than the 8800 ultra so this thing is right on the tails of two gtxs in SLI. It has much more memory and stream processors and the memory bandwith is monstrous. This thing will blow your pants off and make make you a sandwich at the same time, you SLI two of these and itll make Crysis on full settings max resolution be like you're running notepad on xp.

The current world record for scores in 3Dmark06 was with two 8800ultras in SLI, both overclocked. The score was around 32000. The current highest score with only ONE of these cards is 29,000. 3k less than a machine with sli. http://service.futuremark.com/result...eResultType=14

So id get one now and if or when you can afford it and the drivers are ready, go get a second for quad SLI. But hey thats just me lol.

Back on topic, two 8800gtxs is plenty to 5 box or more. And they are reliable cards.
