Overall $125 cheaper and you get 2gb more ram. Granted the processor is only the q6600 but so far it has better ratings and reviews than the q6700 does and the mb i have selected there has also been better rated than the intel one you have shown. But this is just my opinion and I thought I would share something that might save you money down the road.

Lol, i know. Sorry. I just love hardware and expensive hardware is a no go. But I also like to be supportive, and if my information helps than yeah. And everything i post is a suggestion, some people prefer theyre brands and everything, im just showing that there are alternatives out there and the money you save on one box is more money you can spend on your next.

Well I did appreciate your suggestions and as you saw, I took advantage of them. Now, I just hope to see my products come in soon and get started assembling sometime soon.

Yeah, assembly is ALWAYS the funnest part, Its like christmas when UPS drops off new parts . Take your time assembling though, I know there have been times that I've wanted to rush through and get gaming but if one thing is wrong, potential destruction of $400 worth of parts, ive been lucky and havent had any mistakes yet but im waiting for my day. :whistling:

Thanks for the reply and Shigan5 I think you are right on the compared performance, but wouldn't going with DDR3 and the new nVidia 780i motherboard give me a little more performance and it is also upgradeable later in the future, I never really liked Gigabyte motherboards but thats for your suggestions.

I assume the OP wants to MB 5 clients on one machine, but the original link is only for 2GB of RAM. Make sure to opt for at least 4 GB for running 5 clients.

This is true, you could and its your money. The 780i will last you a long time and is very good bang for your buck. The reason i stick with cheaper boards and everything is so later on if i decide to upgrade its easier to stash away something i spent $80 on then it is on something i spent $250 on. And im just waiting for the day when intel starts their new line of sockets and LGA775 becomes obsolete, granted it may not be a while but you never know.

The biggest problem I see witht he 780i is you will more than likely have to buy a new power supply as this board needs an 8pin CPU connecter, not the 4pin, which most mobos come standard with.

Either way it will make for a fantastic build, and you'll be able to multibox like a charm.
