Reason multiple hunters are not strong in arenas after 5.1 (even after stampede nerf it was basically game over)
1. Interact with target doesn't move you to face them
2. Anyone with half a brain when you pop stampede + beastial wrath will CC your pets; Shockwave, aoe fear, slow trap, remorseless winter, stampeding roar, ring of frost, earthgrab totem, capacitor totem, shadowfury, leg sweep, blinding light, typhoon (to delay damage)... Any two of those on the opposing team and your damage cds are useless (trinket doesn't get pets out of cc)
3. Lynx rush nerfed (blink strike can 1 shot people if you have EVERYTHING up... maybe)
4. So many immunities you can't get rid of as a hunter and completely negate burst (ice block, deter, die by the sword, monk damage redirect, life swap, dark bargain, bubble, dispersion)
5. Traps DR too fast, Silencing shot is basically an interupt... other than that you have pet stun which you get two of before it DRs
6. You cannot do damage during your defensives (not that every class can, very few can but unless you have multiple deter buttons it is a wasted defensive)
7. Even with a healer you have no real means of self heal outside of stampede + heal and your talent (which don't amount to much since you are normally stampeding for burst and not for defensives)
8. Their damage is pitiful outside of their pets.
9. Since you are bunched up any class with multiple AOEs can get you out of stealth very easily.
That being said, i see them being fun in world PVP.
