They are awesome if you can catch someone 25-60 yards away. It's almost guaranteed dead in 1-2 seconds with 9 hunters. Just doesn't make up for the ones that make it through and embarrass you badly

    i have 8 hunters and 2 druid heals. all stealth defending = WIN.. and with the hunter glyph, you are like ranged stealthed rogues from BC. deadly. I love them. they have no gear, and destroy most groups of people.

    hunters, i give them up half way through. The auto attack spam just doesn't feel right to me. Not very responsive. mage/warlock/elemental shaman,you get 1 press 1 action 1 feedback (big number poping on your target). Didn't get that feeling with hunters. As for being PVP op, boxing is more about arena. 5 stealthed BM hunters open with pre - 5.1 stamped pet will own. You target will die within 2 seconds unless he has BOP. Once patch 5.1 hits, I am not sure they can own anymore.

    am not finding many probs with the changes in 5.1 (in fact better i can cast and move.) stampe x5 is a killer with or with the liux rush ya the pets can be feared. if the player is half good. but as u not got liux rush, the telport behind target seems to work well... or extra pets with the nice other summon bird spell.


    Hunters going to be hard without a healer or even with a healer as its extra work adding in the healer. but i feel without the healer you just need something there to top up the hunters when there low on hp.

    Reason multiple hunters are not strong in arenas after 5.1 (even after stampede nerf it was basically game over)

    1. Interact with target doesn't move you to face them
    2. Anyone with half a brain when you pop stampede + beastial wrath will CC your pets; Shockwave, aoe fear, slow trap, remorseless winter, stampeding roar, ring of frost, earthgrab totem, capacitor totem, shadowfury, leg sweep, blinding light, typhoon (to delay damage)... Any two of those on the opposing team and your damage cds are useless (trinket doesn't get pets out of cc)
    3. Lynx rush nerfed (blink strike can 1 shot people if you have EVERYTHING up... maybe)
    4. So many immunities you can't get rid of as a hunter and completely negate burst (ice block, deter, die by the sword, monk damage redirect, life swap, dark bargain, bubble, dispersion)
    5. Traps DR too fast, Silencing shot is basically an interupt... other than that you have pet stun which you get two of before it DRs
    6. You cannot do damage during your defensives (not that every class can, very few can but unless you have multiple deter buttons it is a wasted defensive)
    7. Even with a healer you have no real means of self heal outside of stampede + heal and your talent (which don't amount to much since you are normally stampeding for burst and not for defensives)
    8. Their damage is pitiful outside of their pets.
    9. Since you are bunched up any class with multiple AOEs can get you out of stealth very easily.

    That being said, i see them being fun in world PVP.

    this is how its like in pvp bg's for me anyway.

    worldpvp there a lot funny kinda sucks am stuck to world pvp though. but then my deathkights just get nuked down in secs infact there so much CC in the game all just being a boxer now i feel is free kills to the other side for me anyway.


    to be fair though for wpvp and notwhat i might as well play my locks i love them a lot more

    really really sad part is I bought all 10 epic flying skill. That's 45000g I wont get back lol.

    i never get flying skills intill i tryed them out in full gear. or i really like the class hell my warlocks got 310% and they suck but there so fun to play just because i don't own does not mean i don't have fun playing them. Infact i like my warlocks better then my hunters to be fair
