swapping to two computer setup

Ive decided to go with two computers on my ten man setup. Is there anything i should be aware of before considering my purchase? Will isboxer take care of everything or do i need some extra hardware? Also what happens when i want to make one of the slaves view on the main monitor, but a different cpu? Do i need a kvm switch to cover that situation?

Use something like Synergy to move one mouse and one keyboard between two computers. Not sure how ISBoxer will tie into that though, whether it would recognise the keypress. Should do, as I'm sure in this niche someone has tried to do it before.

I'm pretty sure ISBoxer can be configured to send keypresses to the other computer via the LAN. I'm just not sure what else i will need. Need to figure out out before i start spending money and find out it is an inferior experience, though.

You're not going to be able to swap regions between systems.
If you have six clients on a newer machine and four on the older one...
The six can likely swap between each other, but they cannot swap with the four.

Not sure how the mouse broadcasting is going to be across multiple systems.
If you have instant swap enabled, it is extremely accurate.
But you're not going to be able to instant swap across the machines.
You'd probably have to talk to Lax, or someone who boxes on multiple machines with IS Boxer.

I'd imagine FTL is going to work fine, between systems.
Everyone will have a unique modifier.
So anyone should assist any leader, without issues.

Other mapped keys should work, aside from possible issues with mouse broadcasting across systems.
Depending on how well mouse broadcasting works, you might want everyone who broadcasts the mouse on the main system.
That would be something to investigate.

Ok I figured it would take some dark magic to get window swaps between computers. That's fine, I have two screens in front of me so shouldn't be too huge an issue swapping monitors. I did find the forum and it seems to be a nascent technology as not many are into it. Hopefully it's easier than it looks

Add-ons in World of Warcraft can't communicate outside of the game, they never could. That means add-ons, like JAMBA, use other means to communicate within the game world (e.g. a built-in hidden chat channel).

Point of the story is that multiple computers have zero effect on the way that add-ons internally communicate.

If I'm remembering correctly, you're not a fan of OCZ drives, right? That Corsair Force GT uses the same (if not the same, very similar) SSD controller (Sandforce) as those OCZ drives that had high failure rates. I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, I'm just pointing it out so you can make the change if you still have time (and if you want to).
