Default RAF Account Creation & Boosting guide?

background info: I recently got suckered into coming back to the game after about a 3 year break and have decided that multiboxing is probably going to be what makes me actually enjoy wow again. I currently have 1 account and the highest level character on that account is an 85 priest.

I quickly found this site, found ISBoxer which i plan on buying a subscription to since it works with both wow and EVE-Online (which i have been multi-boxing without any software for years).

What i have not found though is a guide on how to use RAF to create the other 4 accounts I need for my team. I know that i need to do this in a specific way to maximize the boosting and game time rewards so i don't want to do anything until i understand it fully.

I tried to look here and on google as much i could but nothing was specific to multi-boxing and people that are essentially recruiting themselves.

Does blizzard even care about that? Do i need to use different email/account information for each invite? has blizzard ever said anything about using RAF to create extra accounts?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

You can have 8 accounts on a single Battlenet account and Blizz will be happy to take your money so they have no issues with it .

I figured as much, why would they not let people give them money.

So can i send the invites all to the same email address though or will i need to make 4 emails just for that?

Then once i accept the invite i'm guessing there is some way to add it to my main battle.net account?

Also, Does anyone know what the US dollar price tag is going to end up being to create 4 new accounts and upgrade them all to MOP?

Use the email linked to your current Battlenet account for the RAF's and the new accounts will be added automatically.

It cost me $59.99 per account to go from RAF trial to MoP and this was about a month and a half ago.

I missed the fact that your highest lvl character was an 85 Priest the first time I read your post. You have anything else close to 85 that you could level to boost with? Lots of different options on what to use as a boosting class but I think a priest would be near the bottom of my list.

It works fine, it's just that some classes do it much more efficient than others. The ideal class to boost with would be one that can take damage (for higher level instances and larger pulls) and one that can dish out the damage (preferably AoE) instantly. Warlock and SPriest DoTs just don't get the job done fast enough (for my taste at least).

You can boost up to 80th.

That is contingent on being able to solo (with your booster), the instance you are boosting in.
I'm currently using an 85th Frost Death Knight (in almost full Conquest 4.3 gear), so pretty good health/resilience and likely low damage compared to a PvE geared Death Knight.
Still, the class has a lot of AoE power (Howling Blast) and wears plate, which helps.

The most difficult instance I am using for boosting is Hall of Lighting.
That is for 78th to 80th.
Not sure if a Priest could solo it, but there's one way to find out.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

My best booster has been my level 90 Shaman. My lowbies stay on follow and I just cast chain lightning on everything and the packs of mobs die before the even reach me. Mind you, I don't run in and try to aggro everything. I just go from pack to pack all the way to the end boss of the instance. I have found that rounding the mobs up and killing them all takes just about as much time as killing the packs one at a time. And in some cases, it's just not feasible to round up mobs. Like in Halls of Lightning. The mobs toward the end will wreck you because they constantly interrupt. A Druid would probably be best in that instance if your strategy is to round up the mobs.

My priest is actually on a different server then where i'm playing now. The highest level i have on the server now is my 82 shaman.

Where you think i could take him to solo? they have to be elites right?

Is it really going to be that much faster? I made just a 3 druid team last night I was cutting through quests so fast it was crazy, doesn't seem like it would take to long to level them.

Questing will be much slower than boosting them in instances.

As soon as my teams hit 10 it's off to Deadmines and then instances all the way to 80.

You're going to want to get a few more levels on the Shaman if your going to boost with him/her. HoL at 82 will be slow if doable at all. My advice is get to 85 with the shaman, go to Pearlfin Viallge in Jade Forest (MoP) and they'll be a vendor that sells 372 ilvl gear (it's cheap probably 500-700 gold for a full set). HoL won't be a problem with that gear.
