Yesterday was Veteran's Day here in the U.S. - a day to thank those who have served in the military. Do we have any military members, past or present from any country, in the Dual-Boxing community? Any military pics or stories to share? Protecting your country by day, multiboxing by night?

    67T - Army Blackhawk Crewcheif

10 years 93-03 - was stop loss the last 18 months. Would have done the full 20 but had issues arise.

Was a nightstalker 1/60th and during 98-00 was a sere-c instructor for the navy/marine school in Coronado island, San Diego.

I like to say I was in Afghanistan before Afghanistan was "Afghanistan" at fob.

I still visit fitzsimmons in Denver every 6 months or so for my service related disability.

I have a fondness for a little airfield in Katterbach Germany. It just a few hangers, flight lines and barracks surrounded by german farmers but it was my first duty station and it was a huge culture shock, being 17 and allowed to drink only added to it. I still drink pils and hefe to this day. This was before the euro and you got 3-4 marks to 1 us dollar.

I also have a warm spot for thunderruns in korea. If anyone remembers those. Good times.

I highly recommend that every vet gets thier full beneifts and compensation. It doesnt matter how long ago your ets was, there are plenty of VA volunteers that will walk you thru the process.

Edit: Love the fng jokes. I fell for the jesus nut one myself

2/68 Armor treadhead (M1A1 tank driver) vet here. I know we have several around, though we're a pretty quiet bunch.

To my brothers in arms: /salute

First, a huge thank you to all my brothers in arms.

USMC 86'-92 Spent the first few years as an Aerial Photograph interpreter, then onto Satellite (reconnaissance imagery analyst) and finally HUMINT (Human INt. Officer) during Operation Desert Storm.

Reserve for 8 years after. Between that and college, managed to get a Masters in Physics and a BS in Behavioral Science.

LOL, which lead me to be a fire chief (For a few years), and now I just run my little ranch. As a hobby, I still do thought experiments , such as trying to design a way to determine points of convergence between our known universe, and the infinite others given what we understand about (Mem) Brane theory. It can give way to some seriously Humbling , such as every time I pick my nose, I kill a few Billion in an alternate reality.

Joke in the motor pool was that during hot weather, M60s were ovens. M1s were microwave ovens.

Beginning to understand why your sense of humor is so delightfully warped.

[edit] "Here, take this hammer. Go get up on the tank and check the front slope of the turret for soft spots. And HURRY UP! When you're done with that you need to get down to the motor pool supply office before they close and get some more high-beam oil for the humvees. WHY ARE YOU STILL STANDING THERE LOOKING CONFUSED?!!!"
