Farming spots for cloth/leather/motes?

Anyone find a good grind spot for cloth and motes.. as well as a leather spot? the darn motes are too rare.. i have 8 so far from a day of questing.

I dinged my mages to 86 and then went to Krasarang Wilds. Grinded Weeping Horrors ( http://www.wowhead.com/npc=57649 ) for 3 hours and dinged to 87 because the mobs spawn instantly. I looted 210 motes in that time with some afking once in a while

Looting is very fast when you have "Pass loot: Yes" on your slaves, so your main loots everything.

I think they nerfed this already, i was there for an hour and got 4 motes a few greens and less than a bub exp.. killing things non stop.

I assume you were there with mulltiple toons? I did pulls with 50+ mobs "at once" (was running back and forth, spamming 5x Nether Tempest on everything)
When any of the mobs die, they respawned, and I pulled them back to the pile with more Nether Tempests.

Mobs gave around 3600 exp each non-rested while group bonus was around 900exp per mob.

When any of the mobs die, they respawned, and I pulled them back to the pile with more Nether Tempests.

hmm.. how you get 50 mobs?.. there must be a better spot.. there were a few "pit" type areas where they were spawning non stop. but like 4-7 in each small area.

I pulled the 4 to 7 mobs and when one of them died I chain pulled the respawning one so I was in the combat for a long time. Only stopped when one of the toon was on low health, ran away from the pit to food, then looted the 50+, rinse repeat

I got bored with questing and went back to Weeping Horrors. Ran around the pit with stopwatch, kept spamming 5x Nether Tempest with everything and then stopped after 4 minutes. Looted the pile and got 60 grey items (amount of mobs died, each drop one) and five motes, which seems to be a good average on droprate.

That's around 82500 exp for each toon (while they are rested) every minute, sums up to 75 motes and 5 million rested exp per hour (+food breaks). I finished with 100 motes (grinded less than 90 minutes) and bought 30x Golden Lotus from the vendor for 10 Spirits of Harmony. Sold the flowers for 10k gold on AH (~300g+ each)

It's a massacre though. Every mob lives only 4 seconds after tagging, while each of them stands with 184k hp.

in valley of the four winds "stoneplow fields" killing Ik'thik Swiftclaws got several motes, and a ton of cloth, and that was jst while doing the quest, i spent about an hour and got 12 spirits of harmony, 15 or so stacks of cloth, around a dozen greens and one blue
