    Default RaF Gift Levels?

I currenlty have 351 levels to grant. I've read the threads here and found the granting macros to make the process much less painful but I'm still confused about a couple things....

    I have 5 accounts:

    A (booster) B>C>D>E (RaF linked)

Level 80 character on account E grants 39 levels to level 41.99 on D. Does the character on D now have 39 levels to grant or 20? If the character on D has 20 levels to grant can those be used from 60 to 80 or do they need to be used up to the level he was at prior to being granted his levels (21 to 41)?

1 grantable level per 2 levels gained.

I don't know if I understand what you're trying to say for the second part. D can grant levels whenever you want as long as he's still under RAF and the toon he's granting to is lower level than D.

It used to be, one granted level per two even levels gained.
But now it adds up to 39 total granted levels, not 40.

    If you boost/level a toons on B > C > D > E, to 80th each.
    E can give 39 levels to D.
    D can give 39 levels to C.
    C can give 39 levels to B.
    B can give 39 levels to A.

Once that is done, having received 39 levels....
    (From E); D can give (39/2) 19 levels to C.
    (From D); C can give (39/2) 19 levels to B.
    (From C); B can give (39/2) 19 levels to A.

Once that is done, having received 19 levels...
    (From D); C can give (19/2) 9 levels to B.
    (From C); B can give (19/2) 9 levels to A.

If at all possible, set up your RAF in two chains.
Doesn't matter if you boost with A or level toons on all five.

    A > B > C
    A > D > E

Then you level two toons on BCDE (boosting with A) or two toons on ABCDE (playing all five).
C/E give two toons to B/D.
B/D give two toons each to A.
(It is actually 39 levels x2, so the recipient wants to be 2nd and almost 3rd).

Then having received an 80 on B (from C) and on D (from E), the granted levels cascade to A.

It works out, if you boost/level four toons on BCDE, then you have:
A x6 (All from granted or cascading of granted levels)
    B x6 (Four leveled/boosted, plus two granted)
    C x4 (Four leveled/boosted)
    D x6 (Four leveled/boosted, plus two granted)
    E x6 (Four leveled/boosted)

If you're just starting RAF, you can call Billing and if you're polite they can change your RAF chain.
    Even if you're A > B > C > D > E now, they can change you to A > B > C & A > D > E.
They won't do a change if you're a few weeks into RAF already.

My first post wasn't very clear but Ualaa answered my question.

The Blizz FAQ deals with a single veteran or recruit account I have two accounts that are both. I was concerned that characters had to earn levels while grouped in order to be able to gift levels. If I understand Ualaa correctly I could grant levels to a character from 1 to 80 and that character would still have 39 levels to give to his/her veteran account.

So if I'm figuring this right I have enough characters with gift levels that I can boost to 41, gift to 80, rinse and repeat.

Unfortuately I already had two accounts, added a third to three box, two weeks later decided that if I'm doing three I might as well do five and added two more accounts so I'm pretty well stuck with how they are linked and I'll have to use paid transfers to fill out teams....but on the positive side it looks like I'm done doing Halls of Lightning boosting runs.

Its mentioned in several places, but make sure you level until you're at least half a bar from the next level before you grant any levels to that toon.

That's like getting 40 levels instead of 39.

    I believe it's 12.

I've got three ready to level. I'm not sure if I'm going to boost to 80 or just get them out of the starter area and grant them levels.

I'm beginning to think I need to make a spreadsheet to keep track of who has what to grant, what classes I need on which accounts, who needs to be transferred and where.....it makes my brain hurt.

dks can grant 13. One each at 56, 58, 60, 62 etc. You get an additional level to grant every time you reach an even level.

I'll be adding 5 more acct's soon (did the $5 deal) and was looking for the quickest way to 80. (for 10 total accts)
...goal would be to get 5 Panda's to 80 via GaL. I realize this would require 2 toons to 80 per acct.

Looks like Ualaa's post would be the quickest....As far as boosting...
    A > B > C > D
    A > E > F

    What about quests, slower?

Questing will be much slower than boosting. I've boosted 4 teams to 80 in the last 5 weeks and once you have a good routine of where to be at what lvls it's extremely quick.

I've started leveling the teams I've boosted in Cata and with the CRZ's it's a nightmare. The number of people fighting for mobs and ground spawns slows questing down to a crawl. I couldn't imagine trying to do it from 1 to 80.
