In all honesty i'm about || close to giving up on this season for boxing and moving back to playing single toons (not even classes i'd box). My experience playing 5's has consisted of playing against.
Mage/Warrior/BM hunter/rsham/hpal
Mage/Ret/Warrior/Rsham/Rdruid
Mage/Warrior/BM Hunter/BM hunter/ Hpal
Warrior/BM hunter/Enhance/Rdruid/Hpal
4 bm hunters + rogue
3 bm hunters + rogue + rdruid
4 bm hunters + rdruid
Mage/Mage/Feral/Spriest/Rdruid
Feral/Warrior/BM hunter/Rsham/Rdruid
Basically the amount of single target burst and AOE CC from a good majority of the teams being played is so obscene it is impossible to stay on a target as melee or put out enough pressure to actually effectively kill any target.
Essentially mage/Rdruid/Spriest teams are triple healer with stupid CC
Essentially multiple BM hunters insure a dead target fast
Off heals are way too high in general
You can't NOT get CC'd ever and many comps can simply CC out a single healer to infinity (fear > sheep > sheep > sheep > horror> blind > stun > trap > cyclone > cyclone > cyclone) and after something like sac is over you are basically a sitting duck.
Any class outside of mage/spriest/druid/hunter/warrior seem to have an incredibly hard time staying mobile (monks are the exception i guess but i haven't seen many good ones if any).
In 3's it is the same thing... get to about 2k and end up fighting nothing but god comp (shatterplay) kfc and such... which essentially means after your healer has trinketed and your defensives are down... you die in a 2 second blanket silence >_>
For the first time since s5 I think that PVP is broken and needs repair.
I'm not normally one to jump to things being completely overpowered and that a game is broken... but jesus christ I should not die in 3's before my healer can even bop me.
So in short; Achieving 2.2k in 5's is going to be VERY difficult even in comparison to cata and MUCH MUCH harder than s8 in wotlk. So best of luck to everyone.
