Farming spots for cloth/leather/motes?

I leveled 88 and 89 killing the water elementals inside the jade temple. Not the dungeon, but the instanced version you enter while questing. I believe you need to be on this quest chain to enter http://www.wowhead.com/quest=29931
I was getting 5.3m xp per hour when going full speed with guild banner down using a 4 man group. Mote drop is good and not a lot of competition since only other ppl on the quest can enter the area.

I colect mount and there's one in Vale of Eternal Blossom, which requieres 10 Skyshards, which only drop in this zone. I want to lvl for those shards with my 5-men lvl 86 team but can't find a good spot, all mobs seem to be phased. Someone knows a good spot?

Grinded here with 5 shaman today for an hour with about 5-7 minutes of messing around with pvp(which I engaged) and easily hit 5.5 million withou having to move a single toon. Also got endless grey drops with about 16 motes.
If you have a team that has not done this quest yet, get here and start grinding asap. It is alot better/easier than weapi g horrors.

That's great xp out of an instance. I definitely missed that on my shaman - finished the quest line. I'm kinda glad I did the questing route on my first team though, just to get familiar with the zones and start off with 30-50k extra gold at 90, at 440ish ilvl, which I guess I"ll just be replacing but oh well. My second team will definitely take advantage of that one

Hope this one sticks around, every awesome grind spot (starting with AV on day one) has been nerfed sooo fast. By the time I got my xpacs (Saturday) the only one I knew of was stormstout brewery but it's not as mindless as a good uninstanced grind, they drop zero loot and you can screw up the pull pretty easily and wipe.

Depending on your comp.... yes it is. I can do it in 2 mins on my dk team and its about 200k exp. So 1 mill per 10 mins, or 200 mins per level or so.

There are a few other non-instanced spots to grind for good exp and good loot (depending on if you are a skinner or not) which might not set records for leveling speed (maybe around same as questing) but you will get quite a bit more gold.... or a few that are very few loot and just good respawns + exp.

Flux1, There isn't an issue with farming. It has to do with the way some MoP areas have infinite respawns of mobs. After all or most are dead, the system immediately spawns more. With so many kills over a short time, it is tripping something in blizzard's poorly implemented autoban system.

Went back again today after hitting 88. With rested, I am getting almost 7.5 million an hour per toon. This is entirely by spamming chain lightning and "tab" at the same time. Dont have to move at all, just the occasional thunderstorm if mana is getting low and Ancestral Guidance on one toon at a time topps everyone off.

Chain Lightning just shines here.

To Remanz: I have only grinded here on 3 seperate times with about 1.5 hours max each time.......fingers start too hurt.

Need a new place for SoH... seems the turtles have been hotfixed to have horrid drop rates not to mention its not easy to farm with a non-dot class.

Sprites in kun-lai have also been fixed.

I had a good spot for MoHs...leather..ore and herbs with a golden lotus spawn every 15-20 mins.. i was there for 3 hours tonight and not one golden lotus. I think they are nerfing any areas that have high spawn rates of anything rare. On a good note, my main 5 are revered with tillers and have 12 plots to farm http://www.wowhead.com/item=89233. So its one SoH per day atm each toon.
