Farming spots for cloth/leather/motes?

I had a good spot for MoHs...leather..ore and herbs with a golden lotus spawn every 15-20 mins.. i was there for 3 hours tonight and not one golden lotus. I think they are nerfing any areas that have high spawn rates of anything rare. On a good note, my main 5 are revered with tillers and have 12 plots to farm http://www.wowhead.com/item=89233. So its one SoH per day atm each toon.

Tillers revered, Motes of harmony crops, trade for golden lotus... cash up!! OR, the vegetables used for the BiS stat foods sell for a fair amount on the AH, they are a decent money maker. Juicycrunch carrots and mogu pumpkins go for 10g EACH.

NA.. i didn't "need" the golden lotus.. it was just nice getting one every 15-20 minutes in that spot ( yeti caves ). I got my druid from 85 to 87 in that cave, mining and herbing...killing the yetties and skinning them with my shamy last week i got 30ish golden lotus in there. And i am getting the motes from my farm every day.. cant spend them on golden lotus because my toons use the SoHs atm in their tradeskills

I was looting them on all my characters instead of the one who could use them, lol.

Yeah, my tank who is a herbalist and miner has 140 motes lol. The rest of the team has much fewer. It is only now that I am needing them for the inscription staff that I am kicking myself lol

The rabbit hovels in the Valley of the Four Winds are on a fast spawn and drop decent cloth, coin, and motes. Also on the west side of the Eternal Blossom zone there is a wall area where monkeys spawn and run up to a bunch of pandas. They do have 500k hp, but they were dropping a lot of coin, motes and cloth and gave rep for the Black Prince.

The golden lotus quest where you kill sprits so they drop barrels, then you pick up the barrels. Go up the stairs..sit and enjoy! ( until it gets nerfed ) I go to the top, that way its less intrusive to those on the quest. ALthough you make their quest easy for them.. there will be hundreds of barrels to loot near you lol

respawn timers are not the greatest here.

skinning if you have the gazelle daily is amazing, but skins are worthless unless you are LW + mote farming.

It was non stop spawning.. i had 10-15 on me almost all the time. If you go to the top, there are spawns to the left and right and the ones coming up the steps come in waves, with very minor breaks..seconds.. just enough time to loot..then its all crazy again!

I have not had the quest again, not sure what its called.. I looked up golden lotus quests on wowhead.. can't seem to find..there are so many. But its very easy to know if you have done it or get it in the future. Its those same little sprites you kill that set fire to the town..but a different quest. They are running up a pathway next to the Inn carrying barrels, the quest is to get 10 barrels. You kill them and they drop the barrels for you to loot. IF you watch where they spawn at the bottom, they come a few at a time and also in big waves of 10 or so periodically. IF you follow them up the stairs, you will see a statue on the first landing half way up. Thats a great spot if not many people are there. I end up at the top.. where you have the flow coming up the stairs, and at the top there are three spawn areas around you, plenty to keep you busy non stop..

Not sure why Shodokan said they don't spawn enough, I have tried every single spot listed on this site and on the web, this was by far the most productive spawning spot of them all with good mote/green/cloth drops.. it also drops those epic skyshards.. i got two that night.. You can sit in one spot and be a turret, kill for hours on end. It might be population related though. I was there at peak hours. Maybe Shodokan was there off hours and they were not spawning as fast.
