    Question Multibox with 2 computers

Just added 5 more accounts and im looking to use my old computer to run my 6 healers and my main computer to run my 14 dps. How hard is this to do. Any tutorials on how to do this and what i need to make this work? Just dont think my computer can handle 20 accounts and i would really like to be able to do some awesome 1080 resolution videos without massive lag so im gonna split it up between 2 computers i think. Any input would be awesome

    thanks

Isboxer can do this, quite easy to setup if you dont confuse yourself like I did at the start :P, And it depends how fast your computers are since you have not given us any specs, WoW uses more RAM and CPU then GPU I have 48gig out of the 48 only 8gig is being used for 10 wow's on 1 pc and hardly uses my cpu or gpu, And if you want to record in 1080p I would suggest buying a capture card for any PC I would suggest AVerMedia Live Gamer HD Capture Card for dxtory with xsplit

Typically, we multiple computer people use a multiboxing app for keys/clicks/cursor and something like InputDirector for controlling the other PC directly e.g. mousing over to the clients on the other PC.

Things you won't be able to do between PCs:

    * Instant swap (can't swap clients between PCs)
    * ISBoxer Video feeds (can show any feed on any clients as long as they're on the same PC)
    * ISBoxer cursor broadcasting (this works but the 2nd PC won't pan as smoothly and there may be some issues if your clients aren't all the same resolution)

For the most part, everything else (clickbars, click broadcasting, mouseover heals, etc.) works exactly the same. This also applies to Keyclone, Octopus, HKN, Mojo, etc.

my main computer is runnin i7 990x, 64gb ram, gtx690, works pretty damn well for 15 accounts but gets a bit laggy when i try to capture video with fraps in big pvp fights. My second computer i was going to use my mac pro > w/ bootcamp, i used to 8 box on it with no problems at all. The mac will be running 5 of the accounts at least.

Just theorycrafting here, if You were to set up two PCs, and run a capture card off of PC B and display it on PC A (or some sort of VNC or RDP) could You then use a isboxer video feeds on an "other window) and view the other PC that way? I'm sure it would be very laggy.

My computer is a Core i7 920 with 24 GB of RAM and a EVGA GTX 580 with 3 GB and 2x SSD in RAID 0.

With this machine, I can 10-box just fine. Though, I do have to turn down my graphics to the lowest setting and set the foreground FPS to 30 background FPS to 10 in isboxer (biggest performance gain for me).

I experience very little lag and it runs very well and I even have view distance turned up to high on all clients.

My main limitation seems to be CPU. if I had a 990x, pretty sure I could bump up the FPS and graphics a bit.

Is it overclocked and 64gb? lol I run 10 and it just uses 8gig of my 32gig Also have you looked at your cpu usage before capturing I would suggest 2 ssd's in raid and a black hdd for footage placement....O FRAPS IS CRAP!! Go buy DXTORY! that software is GOD LIKE! I can record at 60 frames with ultra in bf3 ...I would of got myself 2 690's but there is more problems with drivers and games when having to go 2 GPU's then 1

I also have the 920 and I find that its just as powerful as the new sandy bridge but mine is overclocked to 4.4ghz on air I tend to buy another one for my new system rather have 8 cores from 2 then one 6 core due to price's
