I've always had a thing for Enh. It was the class I ran to when I finally said "Screw this, I ain't healin' you slackjaws anymore," back in my solo days and is the type of class I look for whenever I play other games. I'm so glad to see her hold her own in DPS for once.

Thanks for the feedback Khat. My testing was on a training dummy.

Using your macro setup verbatim yielded about 17-18k DPS with my gear. I tweaked some things (added Holy Wrath and Consecration to the rotation and switched to Seal of Truth seal) I got it up to 22k DPS.

Main reason I am exploring this is I am thinking about making one of my Rets in my 10-box setup (5x Frost DKs, 1x Holy Paladin, and 4x Rets) protection.

I think a protection paladin could add to this group, mainly in the form of using the Avenger's Shield + Glyph for 10 sec Dazes and a ranged AoE silence.

Does vengeance no longer work in PvP scenarios? I remember reading something a while back in Cata it got nerfed, though I still see a ton of Blood DKs, Prot Warriors, Prot Paladins running around.


If the Protection Paladins can reach similar DPS levels as DK and can survive better, than I may just switch all my rets to protection.

Because I run with a DK and I try to keep D&D up, my HW and Cons is on another button instead of manual, since I need the click to place D&D. That is also an additional trigger for Fire Nova and bombs for my Shaman.

I don't think Avenger's Shield has AOE silence anymore. Rather, it doesn't work, it only interrupts the first mob it hits, not the ones it bounces to. Not sure if this is a bug or not, supposedly it's been reverted and re-reverted, but as it stands ATM, it's just one target.

According to Wowpedia, vengeance does not trigger from players. It can also be dispelled.

Khat, is your Enhance set up the same post 5.1? i was using your set up.. modified for isboxer, and it was great.. now somthing is wrong.. could not figure it out last night. It was just a lot lower DPS. I was doing 40k+ on him before 5.1 ..had not tried him since..but last night i was only doing 20k lol

I'm always tweaking little bits here and there. I've moved Feral Spirit to its own macro to get it up more reliably. I also reduced the reset on Lightning Bolt to 2s and added a modifier to force reset, which I trigger with the mouseover region I have in Pitbull and within my randomized toggles. It also resets on target as well. These are the current macros

Macros 1-5 are the normal priority, macros 6, 7, and 8 are the randomized cast. I also use two steps. The first calls the normal priority with the randomized ones at the bottom of the list. The second inverts the order so the randomized casts are at the top.

My Enhancement's randomized priority no longer uses blank keys because my gear is high enough that I'm hitting MW*5 more often, so I've reduced the reset to 2s and added a manual reset within the randomized toggle, and set it up as a mini-prioirty. It looks like this now
