If you were in a skype conversation with them at any time (like people getting randomly added to my calls by arena partners or w/e and me getting DDoSed) or you are streaming your IP is given upon login because you are still connected with them.

You can't stop yourself from being DDoSed unless you are using a mumble server that you own or something like OovoO or a neutral ventrilo server (vent lags though and is shit for pvp)

So if you change your IP and they are still somehow in a conversation you are currently in (you will still be in the conversation when you log back in, so you have to immediately leave conversation and re-log with a new IP).

My solution to it is just purchase a socks 5 proxy from NYC for 5$ a month and use that for skype only so it doesn't effect my actual internet.

Pro Tip: Stop talking to your enemies on a public chat channel where your IP is being shown plain as day.

Stop using skype? The only progam 99% of pvpers use? Can't exactly do that. Which is why I now have a proxy. And skype isn't exactly a public channel. (i never use vent or mumble)
