Cpu usage issue

Recently my cpu usage has shot up while i run games like wow/D3 and i don't know why.
I never used to pay attention to my cpu while i played, but now its sitting at 60-80% and causing some serious lag/rubber-banding.

im using an "intel i7-2600k"

any help would be appreciated, thanks

have you tried disabling all add-on for wow. and what graphic card are you using.

without doing anything, you should be able to at least back trace to when it was not lagging/ and rubber-banding. And try to see what you did in between.

im using "Radeon HD 6950" and disabeling the addons doesn't make any difference
