Movement should always be done with Auto-Follow, so you will need to have broadcasting (Repeater) off in order to move your characters together. Otherwise, they will drift apart. FAQ: Why do my toons move in different directions?

Additionally, check out Common Modifications: Clicking for some info on setting up a Repeater Region over an Action Bar or something like that, which would let you just click on a particular spot and have it go to the window(s) of your choice.

Could having interact with left click turned on in WoW be the cause of this? Since you use the left button to set healing rain down, your other toons should not run off.

Turn broadcasting on, press the key that centers your camera view and casts healing rain, left click where you want it, turn broadcasting off.
