Default targeting focus target help needed... (and disc priest dps macro)

Working on my disc priest (currently lvl 67), and I'm loosing dps due to target switching, so I want to be able to hit my focus target's target. Trying this..

    Code:
    /castsequence [nochanneling][target=focustarget, harm, nodead] Holy Fire,Penance,Smite,Smite,Smite,Smite,Smite,Smite
    /cast Mindbender
and it's not working. It's not picking up the focus target, but the dps rotation is working.

as a side note, at this level, disc is out-dpsing shadow by a longshot...

I don't understand what you mean by this? Are you saying that your slave isn't targeting anything but still casting? If so, that should be the case. If I'm not mistaken, that was one of the draws of using focus-based casting in PvP...so the enemy couldn't see who the slaves were targeting because they didn't physically target anyone.

You should be able to simply add an assist in there to get them to actually display a target. It should have no impact on anything other than display since you're spells all cast @focustarget

More simply, if I set focus on the tank (and the tank is indeed identified as the focus target in the raid frames), the casts will not proceed, unless the target is specifically selected.

Will try MaiRai's suggestion tonight or tomorrow...

If that's the case, send in a bug report. I use nochanneling in its own brackets, that's how it's supposed to work.

    Code:
    /targetenemy [noharm][dead]
/castsequence [nochanneling] [@party1target][@target] reset=combat/alt Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Pestilence, null
    /cast [nochanneling] Dark Transformation
But, a lot of macros are not working right and it's pretty random. While the nochanneling isn't working for you, it works fine for me. On the other hand, while empty brackets should work and have forever, they no longer work and I have to specify @target.
