FOR WOW
TLDR: skip to 4th paragraph for setup and macros
Hi all, I'm pretty new to this myself but recently I started using Autohotkey (free program) to dualbox and I was able to find a script online that was very simplistic for multiboxing (only cloned numbers numpad and f1-12.
I edited the script so now it includes every letter, every punctuation except the following... ~ ` ! ^ + caps lock, windows key, ins, del, home, pg up, pg down prnt scrn, scrl lock, pause break, num lock. It also does not include the alt or ctrl combination of any letter (alt+r) (ctrl+f), nor the shift, alt, or ctrl combination of any number/ punctuation/ F1-12 key.
IT DOES INCLUDE: all letters all numbers all f1-12 keys all num pad number up left down and right arrows ctrl, alt, shift, space, all capitals all shift combinations with letters (for keybinding/spell casting purposes ex: shift+R) as well as a few other things (feel free to take a look at the script to see exactly what is being cloned.
SETUP:
1 download autohokey http://www.autohotkey.com/download/ install it
2 Download my two script files http://www.filehosting.org/file/deta...64/WOW_ONE.ahk
http://www.filehosting.org/file/deta...sz/WOW_TWO.ahk
3 Move the script files into the main file folder of autohotkey (most likely at C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoHotkey)
Now that you have both your WOW 1 and WOW 2 scripts you are almost ready to rock and roll.
Go ahead and open both accounts you are going to dualbox with and log into your characters (dual screen highly recommended)
Change your video settings to the lowest if your computer sucks otherwise you can leave your main account as it is and just lower your alts settings. Also change your alts window to "Windowed Mode"
IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!! Unbind the keys qweasd on your alt character and up down left right arrows on your main character. When you are on your main move with wsadqe and on your alt move with up down left right (otherwise follow your main)
MACROS: There is only 1 macro that you NEED and that is "/follow MainCharactersNameHere" (this obviously goes on your alt characters account) drag this to your bar and i suggest keybinding it to F1 because you will be pressing it often.
The rest of the macros are user preference but what I do on for example 2 frost mages is...
/assist maincharacter
/follow maincharacter
/cast Frostbolt
I copy that for every spell
You can make your alt heal you if for example you are playing a warrior and shaman it would look like this (warrior as main)
/cast [target=focus] Healing Wave
/follow maincharacter
If you want to control exactly what your alt heals it can be tedious but you can do the same macro as I used for frost bolt and just click on who you want your alt to heal then press the hotkey assigned to that heal macro.
Dont forget you can keybind different stuff on different characters for example on mage 1 sheep might be Z and on mage 2 sheep might be X, bind z to nothing on mage 2 and x to nothing on mage 1 so you can control whWOW Dual-Box ONE.txtWOW Dual-Box TWO.txtich one sheeps what individually. Works for heals and interrupts etc.
Lastly You are probably wondering how to turn it on and which of the two to use! To turn it on all you need to do is double click one of the script files and it will appear in your task bar, to turn it off simply right click it on your task bar and click exit.
As for which one to use, you are mainly going to use WOW 2 the reason I made two versions is because of the way it works. Wow recognizes your two instances as wowid1 and wowid2 normall wow 1 will be your main window and the script "WOW2" sends all commands to wowid2 as well as sending all commands to your open window (wowid1). You know if you are using the correct one if you open the chat box and type "qweasd" if it types "qqwweeaassdd" instead you need to use the other script.
