I have 2 sets of 50's republic side and imp side and I have a pair of madness sorcs and balance consulars. The advantage of sorcs in pve are they have a insta cast cc, shield that they can cast on themselves or a tank, fast run speed for movement bosses and lastly they have ranged interrupts.
