As far as not getting group credit - just get through Jade Forest and it gets better. I don't know why that zone is the way it is; it wasn't until the last two areas that group credit started working. In four winds it is working on nearly all of the quests.

It's feels totally arbitrary, Jade Forest is not only anti-multiboxing but anti-group in general. No group credit for anything and totally inconsistent mob/item spawning. Some phases/areas clearly weren't spawning enough of anything to support the number of players there.

Then I get to four winds and at the fish/honeycomb collection area things start spawning like crazy when I bring 5 extra toons there.

I blew a good 10 hours in Jade Forest, wasting time trying to find a better quest, grind, or whatever, when it's faster to just tough it out and do the quests in order. In 4 winds I'm already 25% to 87 in no time at all and it's been a breeze.

I have been out of Jade Forest for a while and this crap still persists. It isn't just Jade Forest. Thank the gods that Hemet's quests where simple kill quests.

Edit: Another thing. When I go to my farm to plant seeds my 5 man group gets put into 3 different phases. Not a huge deal but I have to run them in and out of the phase manually to do the quests/pick veggies etc.

Oh yeah.. just dealt with this crap. I was in 4 different phases. I did the whole chain five times. It was fast enough anyway (run 2 feet, touch the ground, get 140k xp) so I just dealt with it.

I make use of target and IWT to deal with the phasing. I might make some macros for it, but for now I just broadcast to all as needed -

/tar Farmer Yoon + IWT to enter the phase
/tar Untilled Soil + IWT
/tar Andi + IWT to leave {sorta, still have to use my move all forward to pop the rest of the way}

I actually changed my mind and made a macro since you can use modifiers for targeting. I haven't tested this specific version yet, but my test version of targeting different party members worked. I'll update to confirm or delete if the queue ever lets me in to my server to check -

/tar [mod:shift] Farmer Yoon; [mod:alt] Andi; Untilled

Edit - Confirmed this works just fine.

Never said it would prevent phasing, it's to get them into and out of their respective phases since the NPCs are static and not specific to each individual phase.
