Blizzard gave game time last time they wiped an expansion and put it into the Battlechest and I would probably just hold onto them to see if they'll do that again so you can turn each of your $10 Cataclysm codes into $15 worth of game time.
If they did that it would be for WotLK first, but I agree it's not worth activating it now !
