Thanks for the help, but I decided to just level 5 monks by themselves without granting levels. The amount of time to get two groups up to 80, and with GW2 coming out, is not something I want to do anymore.
You could do it with only 2 new throwaway accounts (currently $5 for vanilla/bc and $5 for wrath) but it would require leveling lots of throwaway toons (just to use them for level granting) and lots of paid character transfers. It's all about how much money you want to spend. I believe it was the second poster that suggested linking 2 new accounts to one account, then use a fourth account to do the boosting, level 5 separate trios to 80, then delete the toons on acct A, wait for pandaria, create 5 new monks, and grant levels like mad, then do 4 paid character transfers ($100) to your existing 4 accounts, and let the new RAF accts expire, or transfer the toons should you desire them.
Or just get all heirlooms and start from level 1.
Yep Heirlooms, RAF and leveling 5 monks on new accounts then I will transfer back to old accounts. Not going to bother with leveling teams to grant levels, waste of time for me that I don't have in the foreseeable future.
Accidentally bought 4 Cata expansions thinking RAF went to 85![]()
Oh, I see. I was going to just give them away. Maybe not![]()
Is the ability to fly in a major city worth $10/copy on accounts you're going to be throwing away? You have to first be able to fly which doesn't happen until level 60 (only 20 levels left on RaF at that point) and then you have to spend hundreds of gold on each of them for the ability to fly in the old world -- It's not free and doesn't come standard with base flying.
Blizzard gave game time last time they wiped an expansion and put it into the Battlechest and I would probably just hold onto them to see if they'll do that again so you can turn each of your $10 Cataclysm codes into $15 worth of game time.
