Must have had complaints from the spambots that they needed free accounts to keep business going.

Did they think selling gold in the RMAH would stop the gold sellers? Hasn't yet.

Took this opportunity to roll 4x Witch Doctors and get a feel for boxing. Was pretty interesting. I think I had more fun with 3 toons instead of 4. Combat felt like I was just standing there spamming abilities forever. Maybe that's just how it is. Also realized my GT 545 can't quite handle 4 toons at the FPS I'd like, but it was definitely playable.

If anyone was wanting to check out D3 boxing without the monetary commitment, this is the way to go.

Time to give D3 a little go!

On another note I always wondered why people were so concerned about FPS. Once you hit 24 its as high as TV and single flap cinema projections, TV Shows to this day run at 24 most of the time even on a computer lol. I doubt most people could tell the difference between 24 and 200(Although contrary to popular belief you can see more then "24,30 or 60" FPS and your brain can still model shapes from it).

you can feel the difference between 24 fps and 60fps .... half as responsive. It might look nice but if you're stuttering around its terrible.

Exactly, try playing some first person shooters at a max of 24. Ain't gonna happen.
Back in the day I got Uneral Tournament to a little over 100 from my usual 30-40 and the difference was amazing. Was really a game changing video card upgrade.

But TV etc use all sorts of tricks to simulate higher frames per second. Such as motion blur, frame blur whatever you want to call it. In essense they use this to mask the low frame rate.

A discerning eye can easily tell the difference in a video game between 24 and 60 and even 60 and 120.

I boxed a good long while when I had a shitty computer/video card. When I bitch about FPS, you can bet I'm talking sub 30fps. My little stock GT 545 just can't handle 4 at a FPS I enjoy (45+). I was getting 12 on the slaves and ~15-20 on the main.
