I've transferred over to Tichondrius to play against the best of the best on BG9 and see how far mulit-boxing matches up against the best players in the world.

Aelli, The Quad-boxing shaman takes on BG9 - 2 vs 5 Arena?!
How does 1 player take on a team of 5 Gladiators and come out victorious? Aelli, the quad-boxing (that's 4 WoWs at once) shaman tells SK-Gaming how he managed to become the arena team that 'has no counters'.
Aelli, originally from the Reckoning battlegroup and the server Smolderthorn, recently transferred to Battlegroup Bloodlust (BG9) in search to prove that his unique set-up could take on the best of the best in North America.
For the past couple weeks, thousands of residents of the Tichondrius server in BG9 zone out of their arena games or battleground games and see four identical orc shamans sitting on their epic mounts following each other simultaneously. Some think nothing of it, others gaze in awe on how crazy it must be to be the 1 man wrecking crew.
Those who've faced Aelli in arena are left wondering .. "What the heck just happened?"
He can blow up a player in Arena in little under 4 seconds, this isn't a joke.
SK-Gaming sat down with the 1 man wrecking machine Aelil to find out more about this arena wonder:
Player Profile:
Aelli - Orc Shaman x 4
Arena Teams:
5 vs5 Team (111 wins - 21 losses, 2168 rating 84% win pct. on BG9)
(101 wins - 5 losses, 2285 rating 95% win pct. on Reckoning)
Starting off, how do you do this [quad-boxing shaman]?
If pictures are worth a thousand words… This is my setup It’s called multi-boxing and www.dual-boxing.com explains everything you would ever want to know.

What gave you the idea to do this and how successful have you been so far?
I’ve been dual-boxing for a while. The shamans though, there was another 5 boxer (Xbox) who showed how effective it was in PvE stacked. Pretty disappointed overall with my Triple Mages since TBC I did a ton of theory crafting and out popped 4 Elemental Shaman!
I like to be pretty modest when it comes down to what I’ve accomplished. With that said in PvE I’ve gone up to Hyjal/BT Quad-Boxing my way, creating more challenges for myself to take gaming to the next level. In PvP I’ve gone up against the best of the best on my former Battlegroup and came out with a win. I’m always pushing the envelope and that’s why Tich is my next step.
Is it better to have a druid or paladin healer?
Overall it really depends who you are matched up against, a Melee heavy team the Paladin would be very strong, against a caster heavy team Druid reins supreme. I found an awesome Druid (Akom) who definitely plays at the top tiers of this game, and that’s what I’m going with right now.
I actually did a pretty lengthy write up on this which healer is the best at http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/inde...cking_a_Healer
Who are you and what's your day job?
My name is Jeff Ware, I’m 24 and married. I am in the IT industry and currently work from home for a west coast based Software company. Outside of WoW and work, I love to exercise and can usually be found at the gym when I’m not on.
What do you call your team and give us a rundown of your strategy?
only need 3.5 seconds to kill anyone in the game. I'm not stuck having to tunnel vision on 1 target i.e. "train the warlock" , a Simple Lightning Bolt - Chain Lightning - Earthshock is enough burst damage all at once no healer can heal through 18k+ damage not including crits.
Do you ever get caught in defenses by opposing players during your burst strategy?
I do get caught, but it's a role reversal where they catch me blowing my cooldowns on a target that can't die via, shield reflect / grounding / cloak.
Your old video was a big success, do you plan to make one in the future?
Definitely, I plan to turn on fraps when I start playing against some of the more recognized teams. My last video showed how easy it was to dispatch any team, I like to raise the bar every time I release a new video.
There's a teaser for his next video here on SK-Gaming.
You recently transferred to Tich, what server did you originally come from(And BG)?
Hailing from Smolderthorn – Reckoning our server has had its share of top quality players switching over to the Bloodlust battlegroup and carving out a name for themselves.
Did you have alot of success in your old battlegroup?
For fun right before I left my old server, I wanted to see how many games I could win without losing. I ended up 75-0 before my first loss - before I left I was at 2285 rating with 101-5 win/loss. Overall I’d say I’ve been pretty effective.
What do you think of BG9/Tich so far compared to your old BG?
The main reason of transferring over was because I felt I capped out. There was no longer a team that I felt would beat me hands down. I come to Bloodlust seeking that difficulty – I want there to be a team that completely destroys me so I can get better, improve and duke it out again. As of right now to be honest, I haven’t hit that team yet, to be fair I haven’t gone up against any top 20 teams so far. So if you are out there and you want a piece of me, queue up!
How far do you see your 5s team going with this?
Realistically Top 5 within a few weeks or so, possibly less time if high rated teams start queuing. I’d like to make the push to #1 but I don’t have the audacity to make that a promise just yet, hah.
I've already hit top 20 within 4 days of being on the server. It's basically coming down now to being on when the other high rated teams are queuing, which hopefully will incite others to queue up against me instead of dodging which I've already experienced. I see being #1 as a main goal of mine, and doing it by beating every single top tier team out there. I won't be satisfied until I have faced them all.
How did you gear and level 4 different characters? Just tons of time invested?
The perception is definitely, “wow that must take forever”. When in actuality I hit lvl 70 on my Shaman in under 7 days played. Gearing them out is just as fast as playing 1 character. I can burn through PvE instances myself, and Battlegrounds/Arenas gives me just as many points at the end of the week as everyone else.
Does the release of 2.4 help your cause and your team?
2.4 just made me that much more overpowered. I can't wait to see my performance now in Arenas.
1 second global on totems dropping, staggered tremor totems on a 3 second pulse = unfearable.
It shaved off a good 1.5 seconds inbetween fighting.
Aelli Shoutouts
I'd like to thank Akom my healer for picking up the playstyle really fast, my dual-boxing.com community for being very supportive of me, and for the Bloodlust battlegroup giving me the competition I desire.
