WoW 5.0.x Cross Realms Zones

So you seen the blue posts about this cross realm zone we had small talks about it.
But does it really work like they said it would. Last time i tried it was very buggy and invited other players did not rezone the chars so i did not make a post/video and other stuff about it ok its not 100% working right now but its a lot better then before.

Few bugs there seems to be a bit off lag (OK maybe a little more then a little). not sure if its my end or there end. npc sometimes show and then go missing even when standing still. But all in all you should get a feeling from this video on how it works.




Ill say what av done here as well to make sure you know whats going off when you inv a player to you group from your battle tag (that is now fully supported in wow) and or RealID. then you get a box saying that you could be changed realms if your in a cross realm zone like i am outside the city then you see each over and any other player on this realm.

If its pvp server you will or should be flaged for pvp. as infact your now a member off them realm easy stuff it changes very fast and might even be faster when i do not have a 200ms ping playing from the eu to the us is a pain but thats beta/ptr for you.

We can use this to make some nice world pvp games i can not wait for this as this is one the things am looking forward to in mop.

ok so been playing a bit more with this tech and most zones i can find (no citys) Even if there not setup as a cross zone you can inv your friends battletag/realID to your party and you will see each other fight with other players from the zone. even works in Tol and i know one server where ally like to hang about here







this works in all the mop zones as well only when you get inv by your friends this is a going to be where some fun could happen the back market AH

I am preparing for MoP and in the course of finishing Cata I xferred a couple toons to another server but continued to run heroics for valor and occasional FL runs. Once 5.0 comes out I'll need to re-evaluate whether I need to transfer the rest. So far, conceptually the downsides seem to be:

Cannot trade, so professions across toons would be nerfed (ie can't enchant an x-realm toon's armor, etc).
Inability to collect the same guild rep or contribute to the same guild's xp for the x2 or x1 server
Complexity in ensuring that the right toon loots the right thing (for example the tailor needs to be the one to loot the cloth).

Anything I am missing?

yes this is all still true no trading a few items u can trade mage food-water soul stones

guild is still bound to the realm your playing on you need 3 players in the group to get xp etc.

though npc's will change in the world the you still see items your server offer EG: the black market npc and the goblin none faction AH.

World bosses you can group up and fight though i can see hardcore guilds going round servers killing them for free loot to get that little more gear.

This is more for world pvp and meetings RP? other stuff that might not happen on your realm.

The channels Gennel/LD/WD are still on your server atm might be a bug.

Though you can quest if u wonted to in mop if your not ready to make the full move at the start

yes not sure why you would level like this but you can level with your friends though quests so why slow level grinding oh sorry mean power level .

and if you just happen to play on a server with loads off horde/ally killing you makeing it a pain to level on a pvp server.

You could move one char to a low pop pve realm and then use a 2nd battle.net (this is the olny way btw to inv your salf into a group you could ask a realID or battle-Tag friend to make the group they can leave after jsut rember the leader is the server you use ) to make the group on the low pop pve realm then move it back at level 90. saves moving all 5 and then all 5 back
