Wow, that's pretty cool. What did you use to attach the knobs to the keyboard?

They are replacement knobs for your home drawers or whatever, they come with a screw to mount them. Pop the key off make a little hole and screw the screw in from the other side. I had to take this keyboard apart because the head of the screw wouldn't fit through the key socket.

This thing is surprisingly sturdy, been using it quite a bit.

I was also thinking about doing a similar project. One question for you guys tho - how are you setting up the footboard to not conflict with the main keyboard... does vista recognize 2 keyboards at once? Program it as a game controller? What is the best course of action here.

i really really really want to do this... i just am kinda not sure exactly how the knobs are mounted to the key itself... does one have to pop the key out, drill a hole IN the key.. and attach the knob on with the screw provided? I'm going to guess that's how it's done, but i'm not too sure.
