    Default 5 dks's, questions

Was wondering how you everyone plays 5 dk's. I've seen it hinted that dk's can be a ranged dps, but not really seeing how thats done. I'm assuming most people play 5 dk's with a tank, or maybe all 5 blood spec in instances, but not sure whats the best dps spec for them or tactics how to play them normally. I can see how 5x icy touch is enough for leveling and killing most mobs, and also how aoe'ing with 5 icy touches, 5 pestilence's then blood boils can bring down a pack, and of course DnD (is this easily cast with any of the boxer programs?) helps. Bosses army of the dead and possibly gargoyles are easy dps, as well as regular ghouls. So how do you play them, and do you do instances with 5 or 4 and a healer? (shaman healer seems like the best, due to totemic buffs, and ability to passive heal with earth shield).

One of my favorite groups is 4 x DKs, all blood spec. I PUG a healer. They are simply amazing to box.

I have done a lot of testing during my leveling (instance grinding) process and by far, IMHO, the highest DPS output is having them all Blood spec. I played with various combinations and different presences and nothing was better than 4 x Blood spec. I don't recall really struggling once on any boss in any instance.

As for D&D, with ISBOXER its cake! You really can't go wrong with this group IMHO.

I've got an 82 solo dk, and I tried leveling in cata as unholy, and found it took forever to kill stuff and i took a beating. I swapped to blood and I love it. do you stay in blood presence or do you go to frost or unholy?

Only thing stopping me from trying to box DKs is the one per account limit. I have existing horde and alliance dks on two accounts already leveled and I'd have to delete one.

I play 4x frost DKs and a holy paladin. They're by far my most powerful team in PvP. Even more powerful then my 5 elemental shamans that have full conquest PvP gear.

For leveling them I put them all as blood spec and pugged a healer via LFD. Worked really well.

I've got multiple DK's on the same account, might be one per account per server but its not 1 per account.

I think you misunderstood, BNet has nothing to do with this. You're allowed one Death Knight per server on each of your WoW licenses, which you can have 8 WoW licenses attached to a single BNet. If you wanted to make 49 Death Knights across 49 different servers on a single WoW license you could do that. Only 49 because you need at least 1 level 55 character to create a Death Knight.
