I use ghetto version control on my setups. Every time I run the wizard or do anything with the maps or macros, I increment the filename, save it as a new file and THEN do the mods.

ugh_5druids_magtheridon_dualmonitor_v1.8.xml
ugh_5druids_magtheridon_dualmonitor_v1.9.xml
ugh_5druids_magtheridon_dualmonitor_v2.0.BROKEN.xm l
ugh_5druids_magtheridon_dualmonitor_v2.1.xml
etc.

Work in software long enough and you become pathological about backing up config/settings files before making changes.
