    Default Elemental Damage Overload?

    I'm two boxing two monks.

Right now they have about 600 in resists (with OWE), 6.6-7.2k armor, 15k damage, and 25-27k health.

    I'm running

    Deadly Reach - Keen Eye
    Tempest Rush - Slipstream
Breath of Heaven - Circle of Life
    Serenity - Peaceful Repose
    Mystic Ally - Earth Ally
Mantra of Evasion - Hard Target on one and Mantra of Healing - Boon of Inspiration on the other
Passives: Seize the Initiative, One with Everything, Chant of Resonance

What I have noticed that started happening about two weeks ago is that elemental damage seemed to go up a huge amount (I was in Hell at the time ACT III/IV). I saw many posts about it on the D3 forums and made my own comments.

Not only has it increased, which isn't that big of a deal, except that the frequency in which elemental attacks occur is increased dramatically, so that even without a Horde affix, they cover the ground and it's almost impossible to step out of, especially if they are jailer, waller, frozen, vortex in addition with arcane enchanted, desecrator, plagued (not as bad) or molten (fire chains can also be bad if they are linked with one of the former abilities.

I was thinking that this might be singular to using two clients on the same computer? Is it doubling the mobs production? I don't seem to experience it on my wizard solo, however I don't get near mobs with her or it's instant death, so I usually keep mobs just at the edge of the screen if possible.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I know I need upgrades to gear for my monks, but most of it is outrageously priced of course. Just bought them shields to get their armor and block chances up, and that cost me 3 million each.

    EDIT:

I just experimented in ACT II sewers (Inferno) and got a pack of skeletal archers that were: Nightmarish, Desecrator, Extra Health, Health Link and the piles of desecrator on the ground were so frequent I could hardly move from them. Once one of my toons died it seemed normal. That leads me to believe that my two accounts are messed up when played together? I know it duplicates when I talk to someone, or pick up a green tome off the ground and it tells me some history - both accounts speak the words through my speakers, sometimes not synced if I pick them up not at the same time. Is that possible?

    EDIT 2:

I just watched the 4 barbarian video posted yesterday on these forums and I see him killing packs that I'm killing, but I'm having 3-4 times the elemental stuff hitting the ground. Are my clients not synced correctly or something? This baffles me.

    EDIT 3:

    Here is an example. http://youtu.be/bKEkTLdwzNc

I did a new thing in ISBoxer to see if I could make it change to what I think should be happening. I went through the virtual file(?) wizard to make two separate D3 somethings. See how knowledgeable I am!?

well with monk. 9000 armor, 1400 all resist, 40k hp, I still can't sit in the elemental hazards. Basically, monks die, no matter what. you have to kill Them before they kill you. As for more stuff on the ground, very unlikely you had something messed up. It shouldn't be more than 4 players, but should be more than solo. If you take too long to kill, there will be more of them of course. 2 accounts should still be ok. A good defense + regen measurement is act 3 boss ghom. If you can sit in his poison cloud and not having to move. Then you are ok for act 3.

The barb in the video with wrath of the berserker are outputing 80k dps, and thats just 1 barb's panel DPS. the real damage is higher than that as inifinte fury + none stop WW.

If you haven't tried getting some LoH, you might consider it. I have about 500 on my "tank" spec WD. It helps survivability quite a bit.
Easiest way is to get a weapon with a socket and put the LoH gem in it.

say you have a 3 pack of elites. each elite can cast desecration on each player. So if you are multiboxing 4 accounts thats 12 desecrations that can be put down.

All the frozen's stacking in one place can be a real nightmare if you don't notice
