    Default Best Pocket Healer Class

    Hey everyone!
I've been a long time stalker of these forums but this is my first post =P. I played a 3 x Frost DK team previously and now I'm levelling up a 4 x feral druid team for PvP.

My gf has always been my pocket healer in arenas and bgs and I just wanted everyone's opinion on what the best class for her to play would be. She has every healing class available too.

    Thanks all for the input,
    Matsign.

I think people generally favor paladins because they need less peeling and multiboxers have greater difficulty peeling than focus firing. What class is she most experienced at for arenas?

She has played most on her priest. I can see how it would be good to have a tough healer like pally rather than cloth wearing priest. That bubble can really help when the enemy decides to focus the healer.

Pally doesn't have to cast with many free heals and will never go oom.
Shaman relies for a lot of it's healing on earth shield in pvp, which always takes a global to swap around. Most of the AOE healing comes from healing rain & healing stream totem, which is a bit of a pain with a highly mobile team. He has a great AOE fear breaker with tremor though. And you get bloodlust. It has windfury totem (melee haste) and agility totem.
Druid has great aoe heals, very mobile and has stealth. But it doesn't bring anything extra to the table for the ferals.
Disc priest has probably the highest skillcap in pvp, though with prayer of mending & pre active shields you can do well without the need to micro manage everything. A great way to break a lot of fears by shadowword death on CD. You can smite aoe heal, but the biggest 2 things that are probably makes priest the best pocket healers for melee boxers are mass dispel & life grip (whatever dps is out of position due to a deathgrip or a stun etc, just grip him back into the group). Definitely mass dispel for a team that's always stacked is golden vs frostmages, etc.

I would hands down go for the priest.

tbh unless you get zerged, a priest is one of the harder healers to kill except for an unholy death knight.

Priest unless she wants to roll a paladin. My gf was pocket healing me up untill a few weeks ago. Now she boxes.

Maybe you should get her into boxing resto druids. +profit
