4x WD spec and gear discussion

Very cool, is that Inferno or Hell? I like this spec because it's a lot cheaper to gear.

Either way, that's very cool, you geared them up quick.

It's hell, I reached 60 before finishing. Gearing, I bought new gear for every slot for all four WDs. But I did say making sure (except for weapons) that I did not spend more than 100k per item. Often I spent 20-50k for a lot of stuff.

Health averaging something like 19k, damage 12k+ i think, about 250% MF on each char with 5 stacks of valor.. enough chances to xxx to lock the enemy and enough regen to keep going.

As I was gearing cheaply, I'm lacking vit and my int stats on items are generally 50-90. It's enough to get started though.. I didn't want to spend too much and find my funds ran out half way through gearing them

I did Diablo after Izual, Diablo couldn't get off a single damage attack and did not summon the black mirror dudes. The most he managed was a cage, which wasn't near me... awesome

Just defeated Skeleton King in inferno - want to think about upgrading gear.

I'll probably look at charting the max stats available on each gear piece, maybe It will mean I can get more 'freeze' on a belt and none on a weapon, so I'm not so restricted with gear choices which is making it hard to decide what to buy next.

I just added my stun and freeze up..

4.1, 3.4
2.9, 4.1
6.2, 2.9
3.9, 4.3

respectively on each char..

So as Kicksome suggested 4% of each for each char seems to be a good sweet spot - now I know I can reach that on just two items instead of spreading across four - I will have more upgrade options.

I need one more license to round out 4. Lucky me the WD was what interested me on release, so I already have a decently geared WD (minus requisite stun/freeze gear for boxing).

Time to box 3 more to 60! This looks really fun =)

4% Freeze belts with MF and Int,
4% Stun Gloves with MF and Int...

Hey dancook, out of curiosity... have you tried Plague of Toads - Rain of Toads instead of Acid Cloud? The LoH coefficient for it is much higher than Acid Cloud. There is no up front damage but the ticks hit MUCH harder than Acid Cloud, and the effect stacks for repeated casts in the same area. It is also a fraction of the mana.

I would be interested in seeing a video fo you testing it out, curious if the lack of the 24 yard area of the Acid Cloud rune causes issues with using Rain of Toads.

I just had a look at Rain of Toads, straight away I was put off by the small radius. The large radius of Acid Cloud is a godsend... you can't have the odd elite running wild doing what it wants.
