Formations only working on some characters(Have searched)

I found some answers in search that did not work.

My problem is I have three formations set up. They worked fine all day I changed no setting to do with them, Now out of no were Line formation only works on one slave, Flying V only works on 2. Yet Star formation works on all. I have checked what I can online with no luck. Re-done the hotkeys, reset my computer, had a good look in jamba settings just in case etc.

Are you talking about the example Mapped Keys created by the Quick Setup Wizard in the General Key Map? As it explains in the descriptions of those Mapped Keys, they are just examples and only give the correct formation when centred on Slot 1.

If you want formations which work from any active Slot you'll need to make/copy them and then make some more Mapped Keys that activate/deactivate the formation Mapped Keys depending on which Slot is active. Another method would be to split the formation Mapped Keys off into their own Key Map, duplicate and modify as appropriate, and then use Key Map Virtualization to activate only the appropriate formation Key Map depending on the active Slot.
