Thread: Shadow Priests

    Default Shadow Priests

I'm not very good at PvP, but right out of the box I've had some success with shadow priests. Come MoP when hey can cast renew and PoM, it's going to be a fun team. I'm sure there are stronger comps out there, but for those multiboxers who are average PvPers but want to have fun in BGs, I'd suggest checking out shadow priests. Nice burst, nice survivability, nice mobility, nice easy CC with fear bombs, and plenty of more advanced tools.

I've recently reactivated my accounts and I dusted off my lvl 85 priest team the other night, popped them into disc and ran AV for 5 minutes.

I went straight to Balinda, didn't lose a single priest (spamming holy nova and smite/holy fire atonement healing) - once Balinda was dead the horde just left, didn't stick around to try and kill me. 5x Discs are great for healing through Drek.

I have run them in shadow in the past too and their gear still has room for improvement.

Mine are 84 at the moment. They're not dominating by any means, but I can see the difference between this team and others that I have played. I have a feeling with gear and practice they're very viable for non-serious PvPers. I know others in the community have been running shadow priests in PvP for a long time, I just wanted to add my .02 from an average/below-average PvPer - shadow priests are fun.
