I too am like EaTCarbs and use a focus system. And although you make a point about enemy anticipating target changes, I counter with your slaves don't target the enemy unless they /assist the lead, AND you can make them /assist the lad while on someone else then switch, making them think all the spells are going to hit the person being targeted by 4 enemies, instead of the person who my leader is looking at. So you can make having your slaves target someone work for you :P
