    Default Paladin boxing with shammys.

quick question here for the pro's. How are you able to tank efectavly with a paladin or warrior while also ontroling shammys or mages with the same keys, for example "1" is my lightning bolt key on my shammys and "1" is my judgment key on my pally, now whatever key u put on "1" on my pally im not going to be spaming that onekey to tank efectavly anyway. how do you spam one key while also being able to use that same key set to tank?

    Thanks guys

as a pally tank you need to be using consecrate.. that is your main agro puller.. that combined with righteous fury..

have the pally gain aggro.. need to wait a tick or two.. then start healing him .. he gains mana from it too.. and spam the consecrate..

and pew pew with your shammies too

Don't bind every key to both classes.

I use F1-F4 as my main caster dps hotkeys which are unbound on my pally, while my pally tank uses 1-5 which are unbound on my casters.

I also use some keys such as V which have functions on every class and some keys which are bound on some casters but not others

    warrior tank + 4 shaman:

What I do is I have a seperate button that simply causes my shamans to assist my warrior. (F9 in my case, on Logitech G-15 it's easily reachable without moving my hand.)

Then my q is sunder. (And modifiers and whatnot, I could post exact macro's but I'll give you a basec rundown.) And for my shamans q is LB . I have ES, FS for nature immunes, etc on keys I don't overly use while tanking on my warr. 1-4 is healing for my shamans, each button is another shaman healing with [target=focustarget and then [target=focus]. Either heals my warrior or another shaman if my warrior has that shaman targeted.
I can apply a few sunders before pushing the target for my shamans so they start dps a lil later.

For PvP you could just put the assist on q as well.

Bind holy shield to every dps button (shocks, lightning bolt, chain lightning) on the shammies. If you don't have holy shield yet, bind an /autoattack macro.

    Click judgements/seals.

Choose to click consecrate, or bind RANK 1 consecrate to max rank chain lightning for your "aoe" button.

This. If you're nuking something and Holy Shield isn't up, it should be.

Question for V: Why rank 1 consecrate instead of max rank? Because you'd be spamming it? If you say "Because rank1 consecrate does the same threat generation as max rank" I'm going to kick myself right in the nuts for wasting so much mana.

The spell coefficient on consecrate is very high, and a pally's mana pool is very small. When leveling, the mana pool was more important to me.

Besides, if consecrate wasn't on cooldown when I hit my chain heal button, it should have been because I'm about to generate a lot of threat. I put max rank consecrate on a bar below, so that I can click it to use it when I don't have any mana issues.

If you're happy with max rank consecrate, keep it. I wore alot of warrior gear and a couple spell damage trinkets (jewelcrafter). Bound the rank 1 consecrate button to pop my trinks and cast rank 1, since the spell coefficient would make up for the fact that it was downranked.

I don't know how useful this will be for anyone else, but I play using the default UI action-bars, using shift-(1-6) to switch between them. So, for example, frost shock is on bar 3, button 8, so I press shift-3-8 to cast it. Earth shock is on bar 1 button 8, so I could then do shift-1-8 to earth shock (when it was off cooldown). It sounds a little clumsy, but it's how I've played since beta and works very well for me.

On my multibox setup, in general, buttons 1234567 are for the paladin, while 890-= are for the shammies. The shammies have nothing at all on most bars in the 1-7 buttons.

If you happen to use a similar setup (via Nostromo maybe), you can download this spreadsheet that I made when planning out my multibox setup. I think I've moved a couple of things around (seal of wisdom is not on there) since I last updated this, but it's mostly how all my bars are configured. You'll have to fill in the blanks a bit in terms of macros; for example, 'dtotem' casts either grounding totem, tremor totem or stoneclaw totem (using a rotating cast-sequence macro so that I can stagger them), depending on whether I have ctrl or alt pressed.

Not sure I recall correctly, but don't lower ranks get lower coefficients when you level up.

Later on.. .just checked on wowwiki:

According to wowwiki, lower ranks get penalties to their damage/healing bonus according to the level they are learned. Actually the last level they are still the highest rank of spell for the spell ie, consecration (rank 1)is considered a lvl 29 spell then there is a free 6 level cap after which you start getting penalties to your spell coefficient. ie on lvl 60 you get only (29+6) /60 = 58% of the normal coefficient of consecration rank1 which is 100%
