Default How disable/toggle autofollow upon window swap. Shift+Alt+F not working.

Hello, I read a post discussing Jamba on page two. But I don't think it is a Jamba issue. Not that I would know

Very, very beginning of learning curve here. Basically, when I switch from my hunter to my shaman, the hunter always turns to face the shaman (ie. goes into follow mode). The shaman does not exhibit this same behavior. I have tried Shift + Alt + F to no avail.

    Thanks for any advice.

I know I had a handle on it because they both used to do that and I took the feature off one of them. Just can't remember what I did.

    Open the Toolkit.
    And select your Character Set.

In the bottom left pane, click on a character slot number.
On the right, you'll see: (Checked) When I switch to this character... (and) Do this Mapped Key.

    One option is: Follow/JambaMaster.
    Another is: JambaMaster.

If you point to the Follow/JambaMaster, then on a switch the slaves follow the new master.
If you point to JambaMaster, then there is no follow automatically upon switching to a new master.

If you want to sometimes have Follow enabled on switch, but sometimes not...
And to have a toggle for that...
That's a little more complicated, but can still be done.

Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it"

Thanks Ualaa and JackBurton, I don't seem to have those options. I can select the character slot and check or un-check "When I switch to this character" , but I do not see "One option is: Follow/JambaMaster.
Another is: JambaMaster." Is this because I deselected the Jamba option using the quick setup wizard? At any rate, I re-created the group (two characters) and did not select the auto follow option and that at least is taken care of for now.

Also, out of the blue auto-assist finally started to work. So that takes care of that question

    Wish me luck!

Oh wait, did you both mean to select that box, then place a bullet in front of "Do this Mapped Key" and then in the drop down box I will see the options?

do you just want to get rid of the follow on switch feature for good? or find a way to toggle it off and on at will.

Thanks JackBurton! The picture was great. Very kind of you. As to your question, I guess I should know how to do both? By the way, it looks like everything is finally working, at least as much as MiRai shows in his Quick Set Up wizard. I wonder why my alt never auto assisted before?

Anyway, next I need to get Grid as Per Mirai's other video on healing so i can cast a heal without leaving my main window. I am only trying to level a 81 and 77 right now via questing so it isn't all that necessary, especially with a pet tanking. Still I am trying to implement things bit by bit so I am ready one day for the Big Time ! ;D

toggling that i would think would think is kinda complex. i would think you would go about it something like how is done with the multi mode targeting here.

You'd probably have them point to a custom mapped key, on switches.
Rather than to JambaMaster or Follow/JambaMaster.

This custom mapped key, would not need a hotkey to activate.
    Somthing like this...

    One Step
    - Do Mapped Key JambaMaster > Self
    - Do Mapped Key Follow/JambaMaster > Self

You would want to go into the Control Keymap, and look at both of these mapped keys.
Go to advanced for either one of them, and check the box (under Advanced) for "This Mapped Key should start OFF (Disabled) when the Key Map is turned ON".
So one of them starts disabled, and the other starts enabled.

When you switch, the enabled behavior occurs.
And the disabled behavior does not.

Then you make a toggle mapped key.
Two actions per Step, and two Steps.
    1. Keymap Actions > New Mapped Key State Action > Enables JambaMaster
    1. Keymap Actions > New Mapped Key State Action > Disables Follow/JambaMaster

    2. Keymap Actions > New Mapped Key State Action > Disables JambaMaster
    2. Keymap Actions > New Mapped Key State Action > Enables Follow/JambaMaster

So you can push the toggle, and one of the mapped keys is enabled/turned on, and the other is turned off.
Depending on whether you want them to auto follow on a switch or not.
